I bought a Burgundy matching leather band from Nomad to give the band a little more pop. Hoping both should be here this weekend. Very excited. Great review sir
@@billpii6314 My # is 1,895. I recieved this watch three days ago. An i adore it. Only complaint i wish they did full bronze or just leave it stainless instead of plating. But, overall, great watch!. Its gonna age beautifully.
The only small item that I wish was included was AR coating. It's not a deal breaker but there are a few times it's noticeably absent if you wear other watches with a good AR coating then go to this watch. Use original leather when going out for special occasions with friends but normally this model is on a black rubber strap for daily use since it does get wet very often. What I'm finding difficult to believe is how consistent this watch has been by keeping to +10s/d timed over an entire month. Other Orientents I have/had all were +15 to +25s/d Now if Orient would make a true GMT in this same color...
Since this watch is in my rotation and will wear it for a full month with it getting wet quite often I switched to a black rubber strap. Currently have the Orient Kamasu strap (same logo on strap as on back of watch) but might get something different later. Comfortable all day and have left it on many times when sleeping.
@@3Godfree buckle on the Orient Kamasu/Kanno 22mm rubber strap (from Orient USA) does not match the rose gold of case. It's a brushed stainless that's "dull" and not very bright n shiny. Buckle is not signed. End of rubber strap has the same logo (molded in the rubber) that's on case back tho. Since the buckle is "dull" stainless & is on opposite side of wrist from case to me it's a non-issue. At this time not sure of any bracelet or strap that has matching metal color with this case. Believe Orient & others have straps with gold buckles but not "rose gold".
Should but it is a bronze-like color so may be hard to find a good looking one for it. I kind of like the leather but will change the bands around from time to time, on my watches, but I don't have a metal that would match it right now. :( BTW just pulled the trigger on mine a few minutes ago! :) Where's that mailman?
Metal bracelet should work but finding one that matches the color might be difficult. If matching color is of no concern then get whatever bracelet that will fit and be comfortable for you. Have bracelets on majority of my other watches that I use in a rotation which lasts one month for each watch. For this model I use the original leather on some special occasions when going out to dinner with friends during my normal rotation of watches. Most of the time however use it on a black rubber strap that is great for daily use with it getting wet frequently. This is the only watch that I use on rubber strap which is a nice break from metal and has different look. The black rubber seems to match well with its "rose gold" or "rootbeer" finish.

Absolutely beautiful watch. I will definitely order it in the near future. It's beautiful, it's rare, it's limited. It's a collectible watch for sure!
Good presentation of this limited edition Kamasu. I purchased mine from orient usa and it is 543/2000.
Congrats on the pickup. ✌😎
Is there really only 2000 made? It's listed EVERYWHERE so I find it hard to believe they have not sold 2000 in 2 years and it's inexpensive to boot.

I really like the deep, warm colors of this watch. It is different and looks great!

Rolex doesn’t have AR and costs so much more than the Orient. But I think they will bring AR at some point though.
This might be the most striking watch I've seen in a long time. Mine is #1205.
Great review on the Kamasu. I purchased the same watch Dec 2021. Looking to change original strap for a quality strap! Good luck to your 1000 Subs.
Thank you. 😁

@@KAR120C69 I am curious which rubber strap are you using! my concern is matching case colour to the strap buckle.

Beautiful crisp video of a fabulous watch. Yep, I own it also. ;)
Thank you for your kind words.
Nice review, nice camera work, and nice watch! Thanks!
😁👍🏼⌚
The positive or negative second deviation of your model, thank you.
Is this watch worth buying for someone who has a Ray 2 and kano already apart from the sapphire glass.
Considering you have those other models, I guess it would depend on how much you like this colorway.
@@thegreatgambinowatchreviews I like the red face but it seems more expensive then the black face on most sites.
The leather strap is good in my opinion, at least I’m not a diver and if I go in the water I can use other watches.
Where can I get that Strap ?
Another nice watch from orient.
wow !!!!!!! Just perfect !
Good review of a beautiful watch ⌚ 👌
Precioso. Espectacular
You think I could maybe buy this from you :) ?
Very nice watch despite the strap.
That's cool
Where can I get that leather strap
It comes with the watch.
@thegreatgambinowatchreviews mine came with Steinless bracelet I like the look of the strap you have
@@leonbryant4506 I didn't even realize they made another version.
Anybody know what the weight is of this Orient Kamasu Gen II Limited Edition
Will a metal bracelet work on this watch?

Got mine today, it's pretty sweet

The bezel NEED to be ceramic! This easy to scratch!
FYI I can tell the size better if you held the quarter OVER the watch face. Just saying.
