The case profile is too thick to be a 1:1 of the SM300 but the bezel, dial and handset are a direct copy. A design homage from back in the day was Certina’s DS PH200 sharing many properties of the Omega. Addisdive have done a (nearly) 1:1 copy of this too ref: AD2058

MAMACOO is one of my favorite watch manufacturers they do offer beautifull dials, good workmanship & moovements.That smooth sweeping second hand is truly mesmerizing！

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on MAMACOO 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

I think it’s a homage of a discontinued Omega , which was homaged by another brand which is discontinued , I believe , so it’s ok . I’ve ordered one so let’s hope it’s a good homage 😁 . Helson is the other one that a viewer has referenced below , so that’s a homage so it’s ok . I think the case has been repurposed from the AD2101 which I have so will confirm that when it arrives . Thanks for reviewing, this is one of Addiesdives best efforts. I've always struggled with their logo, but the deal breaker in this case for me is the rather too obvious blue AR. I believe WatchDives do a nicer version of this for a little more money.

...... very glad I pre-ordered the new Helson Sharkmaster 300 ( now with Miyota 9039 movement ) , should be delivered in November ....... yes it is more expensive than an Addiesdive but if you are gonna get a homage to the Seamaster 300 the Helson is the bees knees ..........

Another nice piece marred by the awful branding and logo. WatchDives recently updated to a much simpler and nicer logo and they've dropped the "word" branding altogether. Lets hope the other Chinese makers follow this example. (I'm also looking at you Tactical Frog.... and others.) Nice review. Thanks !

Bro this isn’t an homage to a micro brand. It is an homage to an Omega Seamaster 300 from the late 60s. I understand you are young and are just getting into watches. Just saying do a small bit of research before posting a review.

Would you compare this to the Watchdives’ version?

The crystal distortion is nice on this one. Gives it a cool vintage vibe. I paid $73US outside of a regular sale.

The case shape on these is amazing. For that alone it has become one of my favourites.

I’m lucky enough to own a few expensive watches. Since I got this one a couple of months ago I am completely in love with it. I wear it all the time and I’m questioning the ownership of the expensive watches. It’s a perfect size, weight and fit. Superb little watch. I thought of buying a lorier falcon with just is similar to this, but now I just don’t see the point. At least this has sapphire. For the price, I don’t think there is anything better.

Its a vintage Omega Seamaster 300m reference is probably 165.024 or similiar

The only homage that's been done to death is the subby clone. This is another story and like it.

The logo is horrible but the name is enough to be a dealbreaker. No way I’ll wear a watch with that grotesque name. Changing their name to “AD” or the like would be a massive improvement. As for your question: what does it even meant to say that a watch is an homage of an homage? Don’t we rather have TWO homages to the original?

So what is the micro brand it's paying homage to?? I don't think you can really moan about ghost date positions when the watch is so cheap - if it was over £200 then fair enough imo

Good review I was on there website this morning looking at another watch the Ad2064 they are getting a lot of decent stuff in their range the lug to lug wouldn’t be issue for me as I would take the bracelet off and straight on a nato or fkm

Yet another great review Simon. Ive taken the plunge this morning and ordered the burgundy version. Havent got anything like this in my collection so this will ve an exciting addition. I guess ill just have to wait and see what it's like in the flesh to decide if it stays or not.

I think it’s brilliant. And I don’t know why, but I’ve never had an issue with their name or logo. This one and the Baltany you just reviewed are tied for possibly my next watch purchase. Thank you for this thorough review. I like everything except one glaring issue for me - the fluted(?) bezel. Is that the correct term? I would have initially called it reeded - like the edge of a coin. If that texture was not there this would be an instant buy. But as it is, it is a regrettable pass.

Name does not bother me but I think it would be better with just the logo but regardless of that I think they have a winner for sure, on my list to buy.

I love the look of this watch, however, I have had a very different experience from yours with the PT5000 movement. I have four watches with it, and 3 of them (yes, including an Octopus 'Pelagos' titanium watch and two San Martins) have had issues, from crowns that completely disengage to very gritty operation. Completely inexcusable. Therefore, as much as I love the looks of this, I would much prefer that they use a VH31 quartz (or similar with date complication). If they did, the watch 'could be' ; thinner, lighter, much more dependable, and last but not least? LESS EXPENSIVE! So I'm making an appeal to 'cheap' watch manufacturers. Give us a quartz 'sweeping' hand movement option. Build it and we will BUY!

I've had this (yes fantastic) watch for 2 months now and it's so much fun to wear that I'm finding it hard to give it up for another watch in my collection. I chose the navy blue model, which is a really dark blue, almost black depending on how bright it is where you are. When I adjusted the bracelet, several screws weren't fully screwed in, so it's advisable to check that all the screws are tight before wearing it. This model is a homage to the little known Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ‘Engine Turned Bezel’ Ref 15010-15210 which were 34mm and discontinued since 20 years now. Thanks to Octopus Kraken (don't bother the name) for having rescued from oblivion such a well-made homage to an endearing model that few people know about. The honeymoon continues, and so much the better.
