    I went Dahlia crazy this year. Every time I went to Costco I grabbed a bag. So now I have 52 dahlia plants. I call it Dahliamageddon. I have 16 in a raised bed and a few in containers. There has to be a dahlia support group!

    I get so excited when I see your foxgloves lol I loved the camera angle of you pushing the wheelbarrow by the foxgloves! The dahlias will look so beautiful next to that black fence! I started three dahlias tubers this year and I have about 68 started by seeds from Floret. So excited to get them in the ground!

Your neighbours will get a treat every time they walk past your house! 😃 I bought about 20 new ones this year, to add to the 15 I overwintered, so I have quite a few growing nicely in the greenhouse waiting for us to get past the last danger of frost. I’m planning to put them all in big pots outside my house this year, for some big impact, just need to keep the slugs away! I’m really enjoying your videos Janey, thanks.

    The first Dahlia I ever grew was Lilac Time and I was so impressed by it's size and how the petals seemed to glitter in the sun. I loved it. I bought the tubers at Lowes, but this year I was hesitant to grow dahlia's due to the spider mite issue I experienced. After I saw your video of all the tubers you purchased I got inspired again, but I didn't set up on time the area where I thought to plant them this year. I wanted to try a raised bed instead of pots so I can treat the soil monthly with Bioadvanced Rose & Flower Care All in 1. It contains 6-9-6, do you think that would be a good fertilizer, disease and insect control for dahlias? Have a beautiful Earth Day! 🙂🌎

    What type of sedum do you have where you first parked the wheelbarrow? Minute 6:42.

      @DigPlantWaterRepeat  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Lindi! It is PW lemon coral sedum! PS which green acres do you go to? I went to elk grove and didn't see any pink superbena there yesterday and want to try another one! I feel like when they get PW in they sell out immediately so it might just not be there anymore! Thanks!

    Do they grow in zone 9a clay soil? And how do I prepare the soil?

    • @DigPlantWaterRepeat
      @DigPlantWaterRepeat  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tammy! Yes!! I would amend the soil with some pine bark mulch or compost to loosen it up!

    Our humidity is over 70% on a daily basis 😫 It SUCKS! I went to california on vacation & I was like omg I feel like I can breathe & my skin can breathe instead of being soaked in sweat the minute I walk outside! That's One of the reasons why I didn't show myself in my videos my 1st year on TH-cam is because I hated the fact that every time I was outside doing something in the garden I was literally dripping and sweat from my face down absolutely hate it! I would love to move somewhere that had less humidity!
