Great video, thank you. I subbed I'm not new to gardening, and have planted a few bulbs, but I don't know a lot about planting bulbs and corms. Will be watching you to get the knowledge to make nice displays. I have only done some pots so far because the garden beds are full of unwanted weeds and plants. One year I planted some wild flowers and amongst the seeds must have been borage, and it took over and became a weed. I now need to clear the bed then start all over again, hopefully planting bulbs, tubers and corms for various plants, but early days right now. Thanks again.

@@elizabethspedding1975 yes aren’t Grape Hyacinths beautiful. They do multiply but I find them manageable and not invasive.

Could you describe in more detail what a sheltered position is comprised of? How much sun? How much watering, if any is needed? How low is the temperature that can be tolerated? Thank you.

I think you are referring to placing pots of planted bulbs in a sheltered position over winter. By this I mean somewhere that pots won’t get frozen or waterlogged. Once shoots emerge they should be placed in full sun, and pots watered if conditions are dry. Hope this helps.

Can you store the pots in a garage? What if it gets freezing in garage

@@sharonhulin8769 winter cold isn’t a problem for daffodils, but avoid pots getting waterlogged. It’s fine just leaving pots outside in a sheltered position. Once green shoots appear (probably in the New Year) the pots should be in full light and not shade.

Beautiful, is it possible to grow this flower from seeds ?

Hi Alice. No you should look out for Narcissus bulbs. In the UK these usually go on sale from around September and are planted at any time from September until the end of the year. Plant breeders would cross pollinate different varieties and save seed to raise new varieties, which you could try, but most gardeners will buy bulbs. Glad you enjoyed my video.
