These accelerate faster, less door problems, door problems faster to fix, wheelchairs and handicap passengers can board themselves, less mechanical malfunctions, quiter, smoother, and they look nicer.
True they may be noisy. But they have more seating capacity and more space as well as handrails to fit more people. With the new ones there will be more delays on the blue line due to the fact that people wont fit.
@Albert Carello Can't do that. Downtown blocks can only handle 3 cars at a time stopped at a station. Anything beyond that would stick out into traffic on the cross streets.
I dont find it convinient for them to use these on the Blue line. It's the most crowded line and these trolleys are smaller and have less seats or hand rails. Plus they have a much slower acceleration than the old ones. It would be a nightmare.
How frequent are the U2's running on the Blue Line now? I'll be hopefully riding them on Monday, because they'll be taken out of service on Jan. 26th.
U2 i miss you, please come back again

There's 3 cars on each train and they run often. They'll be fine.

I think they made the America Plaza station more confusing for people to understand. It seen like it to busy handle all that troll traffic.

More accessible to the disabled and elderly. And they run in 3s so I think they'll be fine.
What’s with the middle car on that train?
RedLight GreenArrow great question that is the ventilation shaft of our trolleys I currently working on the 2000 model trains
Center low floor section. Siemens model S70
If you mean the SD100 in the middle (2xxx series), they're in the middle iow because they're heavier than the outer S200s on the ends.
Have you heard they are about to take the trolley to the airport? Good shot!
stitch16261 They already did. Middletown has been there ever since it opened
@@gamingbrickfilmerboi3547 but you have to take a bus to the airport so it's not a direct connection
Cincinnati tries so hard to be what naturally is the bay area.
