Yes, there is less ridership north of El Cajon TC and the single track segment along in the median of Cuyamaca St and that busy Mission Gorge Rd are why the single trolleys are needed
It feels like throwing in the towel as far as trolley service in santee's concerned. Ridership will certainly plument, especially from those with cars who will just drive to El Cajon Transit. MTS Will use that as an excuse to further degrade service on the line. ( Lowering frequency and Span of service.) In other words this is a death spiral.
Dude literally right as I started looking for a Copper Line video this came out 😭
Same here
I'll be working at one of the trolley stations today to help passengers out with the copper line.
Welcome San DIego MTS Trolley Copper Line!!!
At El Cajon do the doors open on one side only or both sides?
@@peacefulamerican4994 1 side only
One side only.
@@ElevatorNic Thanks!
@@peacefulamerican4994 You're welcome
So, it’s just a single train that shuttles back and forth all day?

And you're not wrong it's a bad idea from the gate but do they listen to anyone of us TO's?! Nope
What is the maximum capacity of these trolley cars on this new line, in terms of passenger seating?
64 Seats
Nothing new but just adjustment on the trolley line. Let me know when it goes to Lakeside or Alpine for East County line for something new.
