No update this year as far as I know
So once you load the firmware does it save to the camera? In other words can I use one card to put into all my cameras and upload the firmware or does every card need the firmware.
Yes, one card for firmware is the correct way to do it. The card that will be in the camera when deployed needs to be new or reformatted, completely clean.

How do you save the download? Zip file? .jpeg? .pdf?
