I actually think that what's going on with its feet is less biological chance and more deliberate design. The main reason is, this is a feature on EVERY SINGLE MECHAZOMBIE, and the mechazombies are basically rolled off an assembly line and made out of standard zombies, meaning these augmentations are a standard modification. The other reason is because of the mechazombie's firing stance when it fires its cannon. It raises the cannon, putting all it's weight onto its right leg, and moves its left leg back to brace against recoil. So, naturally, the right leg has to carry most of the weight of the cannon when it's walking (although it shifts its stance to more evenly distribute this weight there's only so much this can compensate) and ALL of its weight when it raises it to fire. A meaty human sole would be PULPED in pretty short order by having to continuously carry what looks to be a full two hundred extra pounds at least, and probably more, so the right leg would HAVE to be more heavily modified and the sole entirely replaced with mechanical parts. It would also have to be heavier to help stabilize it when it aims and prepares to fire. The left leg, by contrast, needs much less augmentation, since the right leg is taking most of the augment weight, it just needs to support the rest of the creature's weight and be able to dig in and prevent the mechazombie from sliding back due to recoil, which is what it is used for. So it just gets the enhanced claws.
I'd like for you to cover the furyans from the riddick franchise. How long does it take for humans to evolve, to something like that. Where they're stronger and faster with the ability to see in the dark and blast energy from there body.

All right so the furrion burst of energy basically is essentially from him gaining the alpha status I mean he's basically one of the last ones so go figure. His eyeshine was procedure done by a doctor for packs of menthol kools. But that's not actually the case 20 million credits when they got out and the 20 or so pack of kools was just a forward payment. Riddick never actually paid the doctor back to my knowledge. Furia where the Furions come from is an extremely hostile environment. Also Furia likely has a higher gravity then a lot of other planets so it would allow him to be stronger all around the energy burst is a deus ex machina if you ask me. Because in the third movie Riddick would not have been able to kill the leader of the necros without some kind of amp so he ended up gaining the alpha blessing essentially which granted him improved abilities on top of an energy burst which is the fury of the furyen race for being killed basically. Though there are books and other such formats that disclose the story better than the movies did I don't really know a huge amount about those. I played the PS3 Riddick game escape from whatever Bay

Decades ago, I (for my AD&D campaign) created the evil god Aberrus. He was the god of a lot many evil things, including really potentially good things that were pretty much corrupted... corruption was his top thing. His avatar is a flesh golem that also has living cancerous parts that regenerate, undead parts that repair and feed, cybernetic parts that power, magi-tech parts that enhance, clockwork parts that empower, demonic flesh that glues... You get the idea. I came up with that in the 80s. The Playstation Doom game came out and I fell in love and finally knew how to build Aberrus's place in the lower planes and had infinite inspiration for more of his corruption, minions, and demons.
Good video. The Mecha Zombie is certainly my favorite fodder type. Can be surprisingly tough little buggers in large numbers and/or if you're careless while playing. 🙂
I absolutely love any character designs that have bigass claws, specially if in the end they are just friends with the other characters. It's not the case here, since they might even try to use said claws to kill the Slayer, but in the end it's pretty pointless. Anyway tho, i really like the design for this enemy, wich is funny because it's one of the easiest enemies to kill ((aside from normal zombies and imps)). Amazing video as always Roa, keep being such a great guy who manages to explain things that aren't even supposed to be 100% realistic ! The man who died of tapeworm cancer also had AIDS. That's why tapeworm cancer could form metastasis in this poor man's body. In a person with normally working immune system, this woundn't really be possible, such foreign cells (cancerous or not) casually floating in the body would trigger strong immune response and would be destroyed.

It’s kinda weird that the forces of hell made a demon that’s kinda pointless, given that there are more stronger human demons like revenants and even possessed soldiers, like the mecha zombie isn’t as great as a possessed soldier, and is equality as weak as zombies. Then again, with some manufacturing leaders in hell, making a mechanical zombie is probably more of an arts and craft project than an actual high quality fighting organism

Off topic Roanoke, how are you feeling about the Dead Space remake? Personally I think they are going screw it up. I again personally think the first Dead Space is one of the best space horror games, aside from Alien Isolation.

It’s kinda weird that the forces of hell made a demon that’s kinda pointless, given that there are more stronger human demons like revenants and even possessed soldiers, like the mecha zombie isn’t as great as a possessed soldier, and is equality as weak as zombies. Then again, with some manufacturing leaders in hell, making a mechanical zombie is probably more of an arts and craft project than an actual high quality fighting organism
I know you’re pain. I have a very minor case of tmj in my left side, every time I open my mouth wide I can physically feel my jaw click into place. Used to be much worse when I still had my wisdom teeth, could be locked up for days. Hope that you find a suitable treatment soon
