As long as the games are still awesome to the new players, it will keep running. Look at Bloodborne for example. That game came out in 2015 and its fandom is extremely active, constantly.
My theory is that by Roanoke resurrecting the dead game series with a new video every now and then, he's hoping to start a Convergence event of his own.
Apparently Jacob Danik is meant to look like his voice actor, Simon Templeton. If you compare the two you can see it but I think with his obvious English accent he really comes across as a clone of Elton John.
I can't wait until you start talking about Callisto Protocol's monsters _feet_ once the game releases. The game is made by Glen Schofield and most of the original Dead Space creators under their new company, Striking Distance Studios.
11:17 Anybody notices when the Infector was latching onto the body, that the body was flayed with internal bones and organs showing, but after it's transformation gains clothes?
I like imagining that Isaac is just monologuing to himself or an attached audio recording system on his suit when he's strolling around these horrible monsters, slowing them down to watch them longer.
I've always assumed that the enhanced necromorphs existed because of the coagulated blood in the necromorph veins dry up and harden creating a form of biological Armor under the skin. This is supported by the fact that enhanced necromorphs show up near the end of the game when a significant amount of time has passed for the blood to coagulate and harden but also the dark coloring. Edit: I AM SO HAPPY I WAS RIGHT!
Thanks for the vids Roanoke I find these extremely fascinating and enlightening on some things my biology teacher never really explained, along with more things that I didn't know before

Roanoke will have eventually covered everything there is about Dead Space, and that still wouldn't stop him from making more in-depth videos about the franchise.

I put off playing dead space for years, as a teen after playing the first couple of hours I had multiple nightmares of necromorph invasions and such, I feel because it's such an immersive experience it genuinely feels like at times it could happen and that's terrifying. @Alexis Chavez I actually try to write down my Nightmares and dreams. I'm someone who really enjoys horror now, it used to literally haunt me but as an adult I have a morbid love of it. Call me a weirdo but now I kinda like my Nightmares because they're usually so much more interesting than a normal dream. Like this week I have dreamt twice extremely vividly of the world ending. Literally remember in the dream huddling up with my family and hoping for the best as the world outside our house fell apart due to a meteor shower. It was terrifying but wow if it doesn't stick with you.
@cyber_photography8322 that's pretty smart, usually I purposely try to forget mine due to how disturbing they can be, and same I absolutely love horror no matter how many nightmares it gives me lol, and while I can't say I like my nightmares they certainly are interesting as well, I've dreamt about world ending scenarios like getting bombed all over from an enemy countries but never a meteor shower 😅
I have increased bone density myself, but I also have the additional trait of getting bone spurs and growths in part of my body, the most notable of which is a sort of horn in my right upper arm that can be seen moving under the skin.

Alright, why the Silent Hill theme in the background? Got me having flashbacks and not knowing why for a second there, before I realized what was playing.
One very interesting thing you could check out for a future video would be The Beast virus from Homeworld: Cataclysm. It’s a bio mechanical virus that doesn’t only use organic matter as biomass, but inorganic technology as well. I think that would a very challenging yet fascinating concept to explain. Plus, the franchise doesn’t have a lot of mainstream following so you’d most probably be the first and only one to cover it in TH-cam.
Something poetic about Roanoke managing to find new things to talk about for Dead Space and finding a way to keep it alive. I for one cannot wait for more to come out about The Callisto Protocol, seeing that it's from the original minds behind Dead Space and based on the short amount we've seen appears at a glance to at least have very similar themes to this beloved series. Here's hoping that the connection between them goes deeper than that.
I can't say I've ever been seriously physically active, nor was I ever really inclined to do somethin that could seriously injure me. But with the few times I have done somethin dumb, I feel like I should have broken a bone, and didn't.
I would like to see a dead space game where you are part of a large team of badass warriors slowly being picked off one by one (think aliens, the second alien movie) I think it could still be done with some horror aspects (like make being alone feel scary and something you want to avoid at all costs) then the team slowly goes mad and depending on choices you make the team will hold together for longer.... or start splintering off into smaller groups or even fighting amongst each other
I always assumed the necromorphs more towards the end of the game became more adjusted to the markers changes to their bodies than the ones at the beginning of the game which is what made the more durable and stronger

Great video! I know you’re experimenting with your style recently. There were a lot of weird pauses in this script. I think you’re strongest when you go for speed and density!
So if the marker is providing the energy for the body and the virus is preventing infection then it is safe to assume that the body will no longer require the digestive, respiratory, filtering, and immune systems so the body could convert them into stem cells, digest, or reallocate the tissue to add additional muscle and bone
