- An expansion to one of the best games I've played and the best Star Wars game ever?! SIGN ME UP!! And what's this I hear about fixing the combat?
One thing this game does is create some memorable thematic story moments that differ from the movies or sometimes even mimic them. What are your best memorable moments?

Tempted to get it, loved my first play through of the base game, didn’t feel anything was missing but only one game in
Oh it's not essential by any means but it's solid.
I am psyched to try this expansion out. This is the only game I invested in a custom insert for; it really does help with setup time. Such a fun game. Great review! Thanks! :-D
btw... Recommendation to not use the red font against the gold banner... it is difficult to read. (@7:55)

I got the Meeple Realty one. There are probably a dozen of them out there, by now, though. heh The one I have can handle the expansion stuff, as well, so that is a plus. ;-)
On a side note, after the Potion Explosion expansion review, the weakness text colour is now black to oppose the white for a strength. :-)
Just picked the base game up with a sealed copy of the expansion for $100.
I'm sensing that FFG is putting out broken games on purpose to increase profits.
They did the same thing around the time of this release with the Fallout game by fixing it with 2 expansions.
I've never played it but it's very high up on the list of must play one day :)
Freezing Princess Layer in Carbonite??
I've found the Empire is way more powerful than the Rebels in Rise of the Empire. The extra starting planet for the Empire (aka Dagobah), better units, randomness with the Rebel objective deck, etc. I don't see it more balanced at all.
That's unfortunate. Played a lot and the balance seems to be wonderful.
Have you been able to play enough to avoid small sample size? Plus making sure to play various people with various playing styles playing different sides?
One of the biggest strengths of this game has been its balancing of the asymmetry. Board Game Geeks extensive feedback from a very large community seems to echo my sentiments.
