Hey guys an update on this video. It turned out to be too small of a pilot jet. It comes stock with a 22.5 pilot jet and I ordered a 25 pilot jet and it works fantastic now! th-cam.com/video/KoNNSVx16wc/w-d-xo.html
Nice vid. Next time you purchase oil, yes it says 10/30 or 10/40 but it must be "4t" or "motorcycle" compatible oil... That Rotella t4 is for "car or truck motors only" not for engines with transmissions and wet clutch like motorcycles. It will cause premature failures in your engine on a motorcycle. Just a heads up so you can enjoy your bike longer.
@@kevinfitzpatrick9050Rotella is good stuff. I actually ran Rotella 10w30 in my xr50 when I did my 88cc kit back in 2006. That's all I had on hand at the time. I neglected the crap out of that bike and finally changed the oil about 10 years later to Maxima 10w40 that is meant for dirt bikes. I never had and still don't have any problems with the bike.
Hey man did you every figure out what jets you used without any bog? i have the same set up and am struggling with the jetting. did you leave the 190 main?
Ya I did. I switched out the 22.5 pilot jet it came with with a 25 and yes I left the main jet alone and it runs great. I show what I did @ 10:12 in this video if you want to check it out th-cam.com/video/KoNNSVx16wc/w-d-xo.html
@@northernmx5973 I’m looking at getting the 20mm but it’s kinda confusing. On tboltusa. It shows recommended jet kits and kit includes jet kits. I don’t mess with carbs much but why don’t they just send the right bigger jets for it or is it so you can have much more options in case people have different types of exhaust and other work done. I’m just trying to find exactly what I need for the 20mm what size jets
@@TaylorOriginal352 Tbolt sends these carbs all over the place so it's impossible for them to know what elevation the bike will be ran at. as well as the mods done to the bike so that's why it's best to just buy a jet kit with a variety of pilot jets and main jets. for this build I ended up having to put a larger pilot jet in to get it to run properly on the low RPM range because it was starving for fuel on idle and first 3rd of the throttle

Did you try a bigger pilot jet on the aftermarket carb?
That is next I think 👍🏻
Tb specify you can’t use it with the standard throttle tube, you need a regular Throttle tube
@@cl80pw works with the stock throttle now LOL
