Kurdistan now soon ninveh assyria the real owners of the land. Matthew 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonah is here

The citadel was evacuated in early 2010s for safety measures, since then it had gone through a reconstruction program, I believe they kept one person there just to keep the “continuously inhabited for 7000-8000 years” title

Oh wow!! What an amazing insight into Iraq, so glad I watched this and thank you both for a great 'Tour". I expected to see a country still recovering from war and so very happy to see this surprise. Amazing Mosque and bazaar and the food looks interesting and delicious and so good to see you with such friendly people. Yes our perceptions are so influenced by the media and it is so often very different in reality. This is the heart warming and nourishing aspect of adventurous travel. Look forward to seeing more video of Iraq. Happy travels

I traveled to Iraqi Kurdistan, but I didn't like Iraq at all. They charge you more money when they find out that you are a tourist

That's disappointing. We loved our time in Kurdistan and Iraq and were given so much kindness - in fact people and places did not charge us any money at all!
