- I walk around Erbil (in Iraq, in Kurdistan) in search of food. First, we explore Iskan street, a great place for different kinds of Iraqi food, and we have a biryani with some delicious lamb, then we walk back towards the citadel of Erbil, and we have a piece of Kunefe, and finally, we finish the video eating some grilled skewers, kidney and a strange skewer with only fat, which I thought was testicles, but it was not.

@@KinoYves le bienvenu! Also, I would strongly recommend that you should/must not use main roads/motorways to travel by bike in Kurdistan. Health and safety doesn't exist in the middle East. Care and lorry drivers are so careless towards vulnerable road users sadly. Please travel by car or bus. I'm really concerned about your safety 🙂

From erbil here, the tepsy, when he reach out the "vegetables" in that red tomato soup, is actually suppose to be used with the rise, you take a spoon of it, place it on the rice, and then take that in combination with the rice. "Tepsy" can be beans, potato, vegatables in tomato sauce.
Also if they offer you stuff, jus say, "NA SPAS" = Sir no thank you. The language is a bit hard, but if you want to say "I want water, its actually translated "Water I want", I think the Spanish language is the same.
Finally someone talked about my country btw that yogurt drink is called mastaw in kurdish

Nothing is more beautiful than finding some taverns in the middle of nowhere, serving warm traditional food and GENEROUS! Not like these french or swedish shits money vacuums where you pay a fortune and being still hungry! What I love in taverns like in Greece, Kurdistan, Libanon, Israel, Egypt, Maroco, Syria, and Malta are those old wooden tables and chairs. Those scratched metal cups, spices hanging from the walls, and staff with real smile on their faces and prices that don't empty wallets! All these make you feel like an adventurer... a traveller of destiny.
Food is joy and must be generous and approachable for everyone!!
