Man those roads are a dream out there! Here in London you spend half your time avoiding hazards in the asphalt! I’m keen on one of these bikes to upgrade from my CB650R when the time comes…..
Yes we are very lucky here… it takes a bit of getting out of the city to get to those roads but when you get them mid week to yourself it’s pretty damn good! Thanks for being here hope your enjoying the content ✌🏼lots more to come
Thanks Shaun for being here, glad you like the channel, appreciate the support ✌🏼 Not sure if I’ll sell it yet, haven’t decided on what’s next. Everything has a price though right!
I had the guys from shock treatment in Sydney do it. They remove the springs and replace with shorter ones, takes a few hours and they set it up how you like it, totally change the handling of the bike and turned it into a weapon of a machine. Thanks for being here and supporting the channel really appreciate it ✌🏼
@@jjames2162 yes all onlins parts, never off-road on this bike they aren’t really built for off-roading to be honest, it basically runs street legal racing slicks
You didn’t mention how long you’ve had it or how many kilometres you’ve done on it . I’ve had 5 different Hypermotards and they all had false neutrals up until I did around 20,000k’s . I currently have the 950SP with 34,000k’s and The gearbox it great . Ride safe 👍
Hey david thanks for being here appreciate your support, I’ve had the hyper now for about 8mths I think and out just under 5k on it… interesting about your experience I’ve been reading up on it a bit and ducati are addressing it with the 2022 version and stiffer clutch springs I gather. I didn’t realise it was a known issue with the hyper to be honest! Thanks for your comment ✌🏼
@@BondiBiker I’m happy to share my experiences. I have a lot of friends with Ducati’s and I hear from them and it’s my experience that the ducat gearboxes take ages to settle in . I did also read about the 2022 model having bearings in the selector drum to help find neutral, I don’t have a problem with that either , first time every time . I do realise there can be issues and mine did have the occasional false neutral. I don’t remember when I had one last . Have a great day and merry Christmas.
@@davidalderson3095 Hi, my 2017 Hypermotard 939 had major electrical problems yet the bike hasn't even done 10,000 miles! I was told the ignition coils would have gone taking out the ESC and dash with a Ducati bill for £1500! Have you ever heard of such an issue on the 939? Thanks
@@MFizzle777 Gday brother . Yes I’ve had 2 939 SP’s both had major issues one was in the workshop for 10 months without any luck at fixing the issue. They replaced it with a demo they had but it had the same electrical issues so the 950SP I have now is another replacement. The 939 2018 are known to have problems. My only suggestion is to replace it. None of the other Hypermotards (5 in total) have had any issues at all . Please feel free to message if you think I can help .
I love my SP -- I'm a bigger guy @ 190cm (6'4") and 100kg (225lbs) so I love the seat height but I'm still a bit cramped on the bike. It is really comfortable once I fully adjusted the suspension. It's also fun to ride fast -- I know what seems obvious, but what I mean is that it's easy to ride fast -- not too many bikes are nowadays IMO. It's not my only bike, and I wouldn't own it if I could only have 1 bike, but that does NOT mean it's not fantastic. It's the most fun I've ever had on a Ducati...
@@josephfelice601 I'd keep my Super Duke R... I should be getting an upgrade this year, as I ordered a 2022 Evo. The SDR is just the most fun I've ever had on a street bike -- it's fun and pretty good in every riding condition (hooning, twisties, trips, etc.). Plus, the ergos are great for bigger guys.
@@mrkang4080 I seriously considered the super duke, and MT10, but the forward lean on my wrist was a deal breaker. That's why the Hyper and MT-09 rule in my book.
I picked up my 22 hyper in October of last year so far I love it. What I don't love is the proprietary software I do not like being married to the dealership, I've been building and working on my own bikes for 30 plus years. There needs to be a right to repair law on every vehicle made. Or at least give us the option of buying a scan tool that will work on our vehicles. Or some pc software for a laptop would be great too. Like I said really love this bike but I probably wouldn't buy a new Ducati again.

Hey mate. Love the channel. Might want to upgrade or fix the mic. Difficult to hear you..

ran into some fellas that got "stuck" in lockdown..they lived around the corner to RNP and had the road to themselves the whole time
How did you drop the suspension an inch? Great honest review

Pretty sure they are HID… I haven’t had any issues with them at night, they are white at night but not the blue white you can get with LED
