After 20 bikes and 56 years of riding this is hands down the best motorsickle I’ve ever lived with. It’s a magic carpet in fact. Long distance riding…..nope Gas gauge…..nope.. Pain in the a$$ with all the garbage needed inside the tank. 5 gal of gas….nope Giant suitcases and racks..nope Windshield….nope This is a city bike. It’s so lite. I roll it right into my apartment through the sliding door. No bullsh*t luxury crap ya don’t need. This is a L twin torque monster motocross bike for the street…..period! Let’s call it a great all around urban commuter. If you like to get stupid and have gobs of fun riding like a kid….get one, it’s great therapy for over 60 year olds I agree with ya I LOVE THIS MOTORSICKLE!!! Great review man Arrivederci y’all from Central Texas
Mate - Kiwi living in Seattle here. I love your reviews. I own a few Ducati's (V4S Panigale, V4S SF, 1250 Multi. I used to own a 939 Hyper SP. I loved it but it was super raw and not pleasant around town. Looks like the 950 is a big improvement with the new ECU. Tempting!
Is there is a way to me to ride this bike. I love it but I’m too short😫. I’m 5.5. I went to Ducati dealership here in my state but man to high for me and I still want it. Just thinking what I’m gonna do when I need to stop on traffic light.
Hi Blake, Nice Video 👍🎥. I realise that you’ve chosen to be a Motorcycle Vlogger but all the same I’d just want to thank you for all your efforts, it doesn’t go unnoticed. A half hour post has hours of behind the scenes dedication to bring it to fruition. Keep up your good work with an Aussie flavour 🇦🇺🏍👍. Cheers.
Cool review, again. I'm a naked bike fan, so appreciate your view/opinion on wind blast. Myself, It's part and parcel of the naked ride. Always appreciate the time and effort put into making the video, as like you said, there's not much production out there for the Aussie riders. Ride safe...🏍💨💨
New subscriber and really enjoying the hypermotard logs. Awesome looking bike, never ridden one but have a SP and full race exhaust on order expected 2nd July here in the UK. Looking forward to seeing what mods you go for. Keep up the excellent work.
Mate, next time, do a review on a twisty country road, that is what they were made for and excel at. Don't buy a Termi exhaust, complete waste of money. Buy a Puig windscreen for bugger all and they work well on these bikes.
Hi Blake, I would love a 950 of course but only really want to spend around the $10 mark. How did the 821 compare with the 950? Would you go for a 821 or 939 or older 1100 for the $10k mark? Cheers Tim
Punt it up through the putty, or Bell's line of road, you aren't getting the experience they truly offer, magnificent fun bike. Tell me when you've had the slide by brake feature work for you 😂 I have, it's faster than me.....
I am considering the Hyper as my next bike (darn thing just looks sooooooo good!), but the fact that tapping cancel turn button twice will reset the trip meter, is a massive bummer for me. I mean, I spam the cancel turn button constantly. Like, when I change a gear, change a lane, sneeze, close my eyes, thing about lunch... you know, ALL the time.. But there's trip 1 and trip 2 right? That means I could have one for fuel calculations and the other one for spamming reset.. :D Luckily wind blast is okay. I own a 701 supermoto at the moment. Wind blast is my middle name...
I just move the setting off of the trip setting so I don’t do this, or reset both at fill up in case of accidental reset. Also there is no fuel gauge but there is a low fuel light which comes on after 90 something miles
I'm about 191cm and around 88 kg and I have the hyper 821. If you're looking for a lighter weight agile bike, the hyper is one of the best options IMO for taller, slim builds. Very comfortable in general. The knee angle is still on the sporty side so you'll want good flexibility to avoid cramping but it's definitely better than my old sv 650's in that department. Other good new options are the Multistrada or other big touring bikes, but that's a whole other type of bike. You may want to get the tall seat option on the 950.
after 390 Duke & Trident 660, i was looking at Supersport 950S (mat-white) as my 3rd bike, it has the same engine as Hypermotard 950 & Monster 2021 but its weight is 210 Kg wet, kind of a bummer, and Monster 2021 (which i like more than Supersport) is not available in white color. Don't know what to do !!! May be if i get bored with naked bikes, & somehow adjust with the faired supersport. Another problem with weight is, in real word, its 110 bhp is like only 90 effectively, because of bad power-to-weight ratio. It loses out to Aprilia Tuono 660 (100 bhp), in a straight-line race.
464 lbs is not a bad weight for commuting on the freeway, gives a plush ride. Which is what the Supersport is for. The Ducati has more power more torque, I doubt it loses to the Aprilia in a straight line.
TBH the way you sit and how light it is. Makes the bike so good. I SuperSport would be not great I think if you want that style of bike go for a s1000r or street triple
@@chirag4 Where are you getting that it is slower. Did you compare all up weight. It's like 595 lbs vs 645 lbs rider included. Yes the Ducati is 8.4% heavier off the line all up, but has approx 12% more crank power and 44% (!!!) more torque ... the Ducati should be faster off the line, and faster when going. Where are you getting your comparison?

I have a 2018 s1000rr and i'm often thinking of changing to something like the hypermotard. Just sounds like way more fun on the road.
It’s good fun but you do get more wind if you are planning on doing any highways or longer rides.
Love mine, agree on the wind and the fuel gauge ,gearbox works great if you are in attack mode .
Just found this channel epic bro hope you still have the passion for it, you is what i love about TH-cam
Thanks mate hopefully more to come soon

Thanks mate appreciate it. It’s a amazing bike.
Is this a video about that DUCATI HYPERMOTARD or about this guy?
Seriously, OMG 😱😱
If you watch you might get something. 👌

Not my style mate. I do do country roads but long way from me. And there’s a help of that on TH-cam. But thanks mate 👌
Your doing a great job Mate, keep up the good work 👍
Thanks mate
lol subsscrbed soon as i saw conc ducati branch straya!
Thanks mate
Having just one bike would never do it for me. So I have 5. I would have more but beyond that the law of diminishing returns starts to apply.
I agree with your list of exactly two flaws, and I love my 2020.
Awesome bike
Hi Great bike review , you mentioned the suspension ,have you dialed that in yourself .or is it as it was from the factory..
It’s from the factory
@@Brookmanrider if you haven't dialled the suspension to suit your weight you're only getting half the experience 😁

821 is good but nothing like the 950 1100 is probably better. Or actually the MT09 is the best value around that money I would go that.
Just ordered my 950 with quickshifter
Awesome bike
Hey Mate , did you try the scrambler 1100 ? would like to know the main differences , i have the 1100 but keen on these 950sp

Wish I had a Ducati dealer closer. I went with 2019 KTM 690 SMCR, but I always wanted a Hypermotard.
Yeah I looked at the Ktm as well. Sold the hyper now have a aprilia Tuono
@@Brookmanrider wtf
@@Brookmanrider why did you sell the motard?
@@arhamrasool43 wanted a bit more from the bike. Was fun but at speed the wind killed me and it’s so tall

Good video man! Do you ever get stopped for going 5-10km over?
It's cool to see streets you recognize on TH-cam :D
What’s wrong with the gear box?

Hey mate, nice reviews. What happened to the S1000RR? Interested as I was looking to order one.
hahaha unfortunately was just so painful to ride anything over 20min killed my hips.
How bad is the heat off the rear cylinder in heavy traffic?
Hot bikes and living in Perth aren't the best combo. 😅
Not bad at all. Don’t feel anything
Wow 🔥🔥🔥👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Its amazing that your bike has no fuel gauge and my new monster which has the same engine as your bike does?
It has nothing to do with the engine. I think most linked to different shapes of fuel tank.
How much tall are you? and what inseam?
Can’t wait to see the Termignoni exhaust.
Thanks mate. I’m thinking that or the SC project
Helpful comments.
👌
Good job! Try to void the lip smacks though. No disrespect - its just my pet peeve.
This is massive :)
