Origins of Names in Warhammer 40k

Names are Power. Meaning. Intention.
In the Grimdark world of Warhammer 40k, the citizens of the Imperium, and the galaxy at large, understand the importance. But do we, as fans of the lore understand why the brilliant minds behind Black Library have chosen the titles, characters and locations that they did?
While Warhammer may be littered with references and names to real-world individuals and events, here are just 9 of my absolute favourite examples of the Origins of Names within Warhammer 40k.

The actual inspiration for _Big Dick Bobby G_ was a famous french General or ambassador for the UN maybe?
I forget his name. Robert something.
Anyway, he was a very good logistician. Hence, why the name of the Ultramarine Primarch

I always liked Abbadons and horuses names especially if you know the history of the wolf hut in Rome the lupine clay house inside the inner city called the luprical .i love peter turbo lol and fabulous Bill too hanaha!

A lot of the places and names also coincide with satanic/occult holy days...ie; "Lupercalia" ...fitting for the traitors who turned to the warp and all its "daemons"
