Wow Kerry thank you so much for this. My Farther usually does the Christmas dinner every year but unfortunately we lost him to the covid virus so I had to step up to the plate this year and cook. Well he would have been blown away how well and juicy it turned out, the family were very impressed, so a massive thank you for taking your time out to film this. All the best x

We just had Thanksgiving dinner almost two hours ago, and I felt I needed to say thank you for this recipe. It was totally outstanding. At the bottom of our upper deck, we have a huge rosemary plant that has been there for years. I grabbed four sprigs from it. Then I headed to our East (Mary) Garden and I grabbed a handful of thyme. The end result was a wonderful, wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. I am so very grateful for this recipe. Thank you!

Been doing mine similar in slow cooker for years
I scruch up silver foil and sit mine on top
I don't use that much butter I use a little bit
Then when done I use the juice in the slow cooker and pour over the crown then finish it in the oven
    Lovely x

Fantastic video, it's a great idea. one small suggestion would be to rub the top of the crown some of the butter then make large pockets under the skin using the back of a spoon and stuff the butter in there so the flavours travel through the breast more.

Snap I always cook my turkey crown in the slow cooker, however this year I have a turkey from Donald Russell and it is pre -cooked and has a temperature reader popped in the top. They say cook in the oven for 1 hr and 1/2 but I am still going to do mine in the slow cooker. What do you think. My slow cooker runs quite hot even on low. It is brand new. Forgot to say my turkey crown is 2kg.
