It's great to see when Jamie teaches his children what he himself has learnt. His skills he has taught his children will be used all through their lives.
The makings of a great chef! What I noticed, is right away he says, "can I help?" and then immediately proceeds to wash his hands. Throughout the job, he's checking if he's doing what his dad needs. They communicate openly and often and get the job brilliantly done. Good lad!!
Been watching this man cook since the Naked chef days, while I was also a young lad entertaining friends. Now as a father of two, this is the type of content I need to see 😢
Not only do I enjoy your videos and try the the recipes, I really like the way you are with your children. Heat warming to see how you involve and encourage them to learn very important skills and passion for cooking.
I remember Jamie's fistful approach to Garlic prepping when he first began...none of this Mrs. Beeton shred grind and pressing for delicate Victorian palates. Nah. Bash the whole head with yer fist like Jamie does, then throw in the cloves ALL of them, skins on they crisp up and caramelize nicely and you can actually taste it in the meal. Nothing is wasted. Roasted garlic skins have a flavour all their own.
Chef Oliver, thank you for sharing your culinary expertise. Your interaction with your assistant prep trainee is awesome. He is very capable and will be a fantastic cook one day. Cheers from America, Clearwater, Florida to you and your family. Now, I have to try this if I can find a real butcher!👍❤️🇱🇮🇬🇧🇺🇸
You’re parents are both so lovely. I recall talking with you’re Mother some years ago on the phone. Back in the days of my Charity raising for our disabled. I was a a bit of an Erin Brocovitch back then Jamie? But, I did get White papers passed in the house to bring into existence much needed change. 😀👍
Sig. Genarro is with all of you! Good to see. Family is not about ancestry. My own Grandmothers aren't related to me at all and they are kitchen godesses who I love more than any person on earth.
Boy I love lamb!! Especially when I wanted to eat lamb steak. The last time I ate lamb steak was long time ago...maybe when I was 10-12 years old and last December 31, 2022...we cooked lamb steak at last after for a long time craving for it. 2022 Christmas and New Year's Day 2023 was those events when me and my families were together and reunited again after the pandemic and even the pandemic is starting to slow down a bit
I like that and I even like more that the little boy didn't act like he was scared to touch this and touch that he did a wonderful job keep up the good work
I remember the good old days when even though we were poor, we could now and then afford to buy a shoulder of lamb and cook it slowly for four hours for Sunday dinner. It was beautiful. Can’t afford ANY cut of lamb now. Afraid to put the oven on.
Hi Jamie. Love Love Love your cooking, wish I lived nearby to learn all that delicious and healthy good food you prepare. Great seeing your son learn your trade.
You're such a great cook. The greatest of all. The way you come up with easy super creative ways to flavor dishes. Nobody's like you. You know your cooking too well.
Super yummy, i love how you and your son are working together, he will become a chef cook aswell perhaps ? A lovely happy New Year 2023, to you J. Oliver and family, keep on with your delicious recipes, it is inspiering my cooking Ty!!
С Новым Годом, милый Джейми Оливер! Счастья и здоровья Вам, Вашим близким и Вашей стране! Благодарю Вас, солнышко! Пусть этот года станет годом мира, любви и милосердия! 😘😘😘
Kudos to your son who displays xlnt knife skills. I'd suggest even more kid involvement so that appreciating parents (aka: your subs) will encourage their kids to watch which will further build your brand and, as they get older, will also become subs Cheers mate
I may have missed it. But before the temp gets dropped back down to 150 degrees Celsius, old mate says it’s at ‘full Wack’. What’s full Wack these days? My Bosch can crank 250degrees ?
Full marks on recycling too Jamie, tell you what Id like to see is you prepping a meal with Alan Titchmarsh at your side who can regale us with all the benefits gained by garden worms and other compost bin inhabitants in composing the perfect garden soil from fruit veg and bread scraps. When making a Sunday Roast i always bear in mind the banquet for my compost bin guests.
It's great to see when Jamie teaches his children what he himself has learnt. His skills he has taught his children will be used all through their lives.
So sweet watching Jamie with Buddy. Man, I miss my dad.
Showing Genarro at the end, was my favorite part..him and Jamie on a family table is priceless 😍
Sorry, but Jamie's dad deserves the King of the Table honor. Even Genarro would appreciate that.
20 years of marriage... now that is definitely something worth celebrating! Congratulations 🎉
It's wonderful to see his family 👪 his
Dad. friends around to celebrate 🍾.
I miss my mom and Dad dearly. God bless
those that still have them.
Such inspirational words. "Life is about memories. And today we´ve made a memory".

I remember the 1 episode of The Naked Chef, think I was 12yrs old, that started my love for cooking… incredible to see how your life has flourished…
So sweet to see his son is helping and cooking with his daddy. 😍
There’s no way that single piece of lamb was enough for everyone, looked freaken amazing, thanks Jamie
But the sausage what has it to do with the lambchop 🥩 😳 but what roasted lamb is the best 👍
So Happy for you Jamie, have a wonderful and healthy 2023.

Ordinary folk in the UK can no longer afford to buy a lamb joint or have the oven on for 4hrs🙃
Really? That is really sad :( What would the cost be for a lamb joint, and what are electricity costs?
Wow you must be poor as hell lool
A joint this size is about £30

My husband would eat half that lamb 😂 times are hard in the olive oil household too then.
Petal, River and Buddy?!!! My kids are called Dave, Colin and Angela. No wonder we are so dull
I would be very proud if you were my son, Jamie
Good
Now that’s something
That’s family
Nothing beats a lamb roast……
A sort of minted mushy peas as a topping at the end? Looked good.
Delicious 😋
What time is it afternoon or evening?.

What was the green stuff that he put on the lamb at the end?

The green gravy at the end - how was that made????
I want a quick chicken recipe as I go to the gym and don't have much time to cook. Any quick recipes?
