- The last piece to come out is huge and extremely heavy. Some creativity was required to move the giant stone so we can continue with the restoration, rebuilding the ancient stone walls.

House renovation is thirsty work, especially an old Finca (Spanish farmhouse), so if you would like to buy us a coffee or even a beer, you can do so here: www.buymeacoff.... It would be very much appreciated.

You should have given us a call Chris would have helped move that. He will help put it in place for sure when you are ready
We're working on a plan to lift it into it's final resting place
Wow what a job! Such incredible workmanship Andy.
The wall is really looking beautiful. You are performing miracles with those stones Andy. Such tough work.
I think the original builders were very clever using what materials they had on hand and could afford, to build a humble home and farm buildings. Be careful, and best of luck with your resto. 😊
beautiful stonework, I am actually learning something here, thank you.
It is going to look wonderful when you are through!!!
I think Andy would have been a foreman at the pyramid building..😊
Thank God for Acrow's, I really think they are keeping half of Spain from falling down. Savage amusement then throw in the heat, good luck kidda
Such hard, hard work but worth it. You'll be done soon. Good job!
Look... Andy invented the wheel!!
Always enjoy seeing you regenerate you’re crumbling walls I’m fascinated how this consolidates and adds strength back into the repair I’m excited to see the completion of this section It will give a rundown area look as good as new Always appreciate the help you get from Sharon You’d be in a pickle without it
Keep it up guys 👍👍
Hi Sharon and Andy, your progress on the wall is really coming along. Best of luck with your work and, I wanted to compliment you on your hen house, very nice and cozy for your girls. Lorrie from Massachusetts ❤

Well, you did it! That was epic. Might have to borrow that rock shifting technique for my rock garden project. Cheers from Kindle in 🇨🇦
Use compressed air to blow that stuff out.
I'm in awe! Super effort folks! 🏆🏅
Great video'
Works with the brain! No mistakes a loud 😊 you doing great on that wall ohhh that stone on the entrance 👌 👏 yep I need a cold one after seeing this episode 😅
Great Work Andy & Sharon, You’re both really hard workers. I hope your arm has fully mended Sharon. Love from Manchester.xx
Thank you - Yes, it's just about there now
A challenging project indeed, but you are getting there!👍👍
Watching you feeling the stoneshouse is very therapeutic 😊 enjoy watching your channel so much progress
Very satisfying to watch you two🫶🫶
Well done Andy mate, looked back breaking that big stone. Funnily enough I was just thinking, it makes you wonder how the Egyptians built the pyramids and then you said it yourself ha ha, great minds and all that. Great bit if ingenuity there using the scaffold bars to roll it, I doff my cap to you on that one lol 👏🏼
Stone by stone 🥵
The only way - there are no quick fixes
Maybe the stuff that look like pine needles were used as insulation??
It's a bit random for that, we guess it's some kind of animal but no idea what
Watching you jemmying that stone, I felt like you were building a pyramid
Haha then you said the same thing!
You needed your friend you built the dining table for to come help you lift that huge door stone!
That is the lovely couple from Tales from the Caveside, they also have a renovation vlog
Even Chris would not have been able to lift it. It is much heavier than two people can manage 😢
I feel for you moving the stone.
That is some hard work for any man, too, do.
But its like hitting your head with a hammer,
It sure is good when you quit!😅
Hercules!
Maybe a creature has been living in the cavity wall?
Something for sure - nut we don't know what. We know there were birds and wasps in there!
Did the builders ever leave any “treasures” in the walls? We always fine bottles, trinkets, even tools in walls of old homes here. It’s harder with stones, but I’m curious if you ever find something unexpected.
Not yet. We are hoping to find the family gold but so far only wasps and birds nests lol
🥰
👍👏🌟🍀💐
You don't look that strong, but you are.
On the bright side it took the Egyptians 20-30 years to build the great pyramid 😂
Yes, and there were hundreds of them! We are but two people 😔 But thank you for your comment ❤
Probably take us that long lol
❤
