There are so many things that they can do for EGMP platform (first gen at least, most of the facelifts have some of this already): manual battery precondition, precondition battery when a charger is selected in aa/cp, add turn by turn in HUD from aa/cp, wireless aa/ac (most navigations have wifi chip integrated but is not used because of license issues...), lock/unlock when leaving/approach, close windows/lid when locking the car, one push close windows for back seat doors, netflix/youtube on navigation while stationary (the Korean versions have it), lock the car while in camping mode, access video and record from car's cameras, turn on seat heating/ventilating while using remote climate control, sync key to profile and apply saved settings when unlocking. Maybe boost performance somehow (convert usb storage to RAM since the Gen5w runs on an old version of android. Icon of the actual car in navigatin, or at least the correct color on 360 view. Turn off the headlamps when in park mode, for some reason, the headlamps are on if you have them set to auto and the light sensor considers they need to be on, but while parking it should turn to parking lights or somehow let the user decide.
Would be far better if the car just turned itself off automatically like many other modern EVs (unless you explicitly set it in camping or dog mode...)
Get rid of the legal alert that has to be acknowledged every time we start the car! Make the car remember the regen mode, it resets it on every start! Make the car remember a heated/cooled seat setting, again this is reset each time. Make the car lock itself after a few minutes of being unlocked Thanks

What we need is the classic Ioniq with a 72 kWh battery. Or more accurately a 72 kWh battery for the classic Ioniq. Drove to southern Lapland and back a week ago, in minus 20-30°C, about 1750 km. ☃️🎅🏾❄️ Also getting rid of those pings and beeps would be nice.
6:17 i think the beep is for the keyfob being out of the car in your pocket and the car still being on. It can be annoying yes but it happens in many cars

pre-heating of the car through the app does not enable seat heating, I think it was available some time ago as a setting in the app, but now it's not. I don't understan why the car can heat the steering wheel but seats not... another one, turn off the lane assist automatically each time I start the car (yes yes I know 'safety' rules), without having to press and hold this 'auto-steering' button for a couple of seconds
Reviewers often criticize features, or lack of. Actual owners quickly get used to the various differences between cars because they don't have a comparison. I've gotten used to my Ioniq 5 and love it just as it is. 😎

- A separate HEAT button instead of AC button. Whenever do you want to turn off the AC? Often when you only drive a short bit you do not want the cabin to heat up. You have your jacket on anyway and unecessary to drain the battery - Why does the AC turn off when heat is activated? The windows get fogged up without the AC - The clumpsiness - impossible to drive in town and park. Needs four wheel steering with that long wheelbase - Better Matrix headlights. - More wheel adjustment - you have to have the proportions of an ape: long arms, short legs. - Night mode with blue light reduction functioning with apple car play
Ioniq 5 has the Utility Mode to keep the climate control on while the car has been turned off. I think you demonstrated it in the Arctic Circle episode.

Why are suggesting improvements shown on a pre-facelift model? You already drove the new model (PE) and it has a lot of improvements as you already know.
Please Enhance keep the focus on Tesla. Deciding to support another platform from a different manufacturer, with a different software and API does not just double the difficulty and amount of work required, it usually more than doubles or triples it. Speaking from experience in software industry. Keeping focus on one platform, at least for now, will ensure that one platform will be amazing, instead of two platforms being only decent. 🙏🏻

Definitely keep the warning beep when you leave the car without turning if off. It's a very useful feature.

@notsoprotip5806 it's a shorter route than before, hence shortcut. I never use it though, I use auto mode for seat and steering wheel heating.
Stop charging can be done in the app or by pressing the unlock button on the keyfob.
The unlock button only stops AC charging, not DC sessions. I wonder if the app can stop a DC session.

They are some things i prefer having absolute control over and one of those is starting the car myself. So with Ioniq 5 i prefer the setup.

The autoplay setting for music is a Android setting. You can turn it on and off in android. I assume, you are using a different phone in thailand?
I mean auto-play for radio, etc. Not Android Auto.
