Plastic - PLA, nozzle diameter 0.2mm, layer height 0.1mm
HB Toys ZP1001 has final gear ratio 14.4:1, it doesn't have a gearbox.
Therefore, the model can't drive slowly and smoothly, which is necessary for the crawler.
It was decided to make a 2-speed transmission, according to the principle of gearbox at Traxxas TRX-4. Transmission has remote shifting.
Based on the model dimensions, the following final gear ratios were selected:
1st gear - 14.4: 1
2nd gear - 54.4: 1
Land Rover Defender 1/10 rc car - HB Toys ZP1001 (ZP1002) - a simplified copy of the Land Rover Defender Traxxas TRX4 Defender.
These models are similar only to bodies, inside everything is completely different and "out of the box" does not go to any comparison.
HB Toys ZP1001 is smaller than Traxxas. Its size is 47.4 * 20.2 * 23.5 cm. Traxxas is 58.6 * 24.85 * 29.16 cm. Also, the ZP1001 chassis is much simpler and requires improvements so that it can be operated as a trophy rc car.
One of the problems is demonstrated in the video. In future videos, I will try to fix this problem. I will also show other weaknesses of this model: slightly stiff tires, hard shock absorbers without oil, poor turn of wheels, esc without braking mode, gear ratio HB Toys ZP1001 (ZP1002) - 14.4: 1 due to which there is no smooth, slow movement of the model. The Traxxas TRX-4 Defender has a gear ratio on 1st gear - 25.85: 1, on 2nd gear - 64.64: 1, and RGT EX86100 - 41.14: 1.
Summary: the model requires almost complete processing if you want a natural ride. But its price is much cheaper than other models. In future videos, I will upgrade and tune this model. Let's see what happens from this :)

superb man. if u can create a gear reduction than u can bring out the best product in this line up. i do play with HB ZP1001. would love to get inputs from u on further developments on this model. its a basic set up and has lot of scope for furtherance of research and fabrication.if by any chance u come up with a gera reduction on sale,let us know.

The gearbox was developed by me and printed on a 3d printer. I changed the electronics for upgrade.

Link - is a 3d model for sale. You'd better have your own 3d printer to print it. You will also need to little trim the chassis. In this video - example. 3D printing is a technology that does not allow you to get accurate dimensions with a 3d model. In 3D printing, dimensions are not always accurate and parts need to be adjusted with a file, sometimes you need to print the same part many times or make small changes. You can use plastic - PLA, nozzle diameter 0.2mm, layer height 0.1mm for gears. For gears, accuracy is critical, so you need to print 0.1mm layer and a nozzle of 0.2mm, otherwise the gears can jam or break.
Does the 3D print gear strong enough for running?
The gearbox is still working :) So I think that the strength of the gears is enough)
