- Land Rover D110 1/10 RC Driving under water. So took this old girl out to a very large 'Ford' and had some fun! 100% Waterproofed. The more I drive this, the more I like it. Very Cheap RC Crawler, now upgraded and running a 3S Lipo.

No probs. I used to use Plasti-dip, but this coating seems a bit easier to apply, and doesn't hold in heat.

A small hole drilled in the highest part of the roof might let trapped air out of the body and prevent floating. Just a thought :-)
Yes that would help. I have a 1/16 that is fully submerge-able, that has a hole in the roof 👍🏻

Love what you've done to it.Personally I keep my rc's well clear of water if I can avoid it. Have you found any other way of increasing the steering throw beyond what is already known?
I've not looked any further than what's already been done. I have more plans for this, so we will see!

Is the informal coating like a spray on plasticote? Or is it more like a hydrophobic oil? Very informative as usual. 👌👍👌👍
It's a thin lacquer that is used to coat circuit boards and other electrical components.

I've not seen the FTX, so can't really comment. But this thing has taken quite some abuse.
I don't see why you shouldn't put a prop on it, especially as the snorkle's clearly under water. lol. Premium footage bro.

Cool video! I was wanting to waterproof my ESS dual but I can't find that video you were talking about on how to do it. Would it be possible to update the description with a link to that video or show a demonstration on how to waterproof it? I have an idea but instead of experimenting and ruining mine I'd rather just see what others are doing that work.
RC Sparks made a video, but it’s not there any more. I took mine apart and sprayed the electronics with conformal coating
Ahh- that’s what I was looking for. Can you do a video on this? Do you have to do anything to the speaker itself or just put conformal onto the board and do electric grease onto the contacts?

This was a great look at waterproofing - with an excellent video demonstration of its effectiveness. I´d love to see the footage from a camera mounted inside the body at the rear, looking forwards. I´m just curious as to quite how much air remains trapped inside the body when...er...deep wading.
none with a couple vent holes popped in the roof :)

Yes, would be interesting. I expect quite a bit as the body is quite well fitted on this, and has wheel well liners etc... I think I will cut the rear windows out next time.

sir how long does mn99s will work with some esc upgrade and metal axle
MN99s comes with metal gears, and you don't need to upgrade it. Fully proportional out the box
