Same bro. All that pumped up anger I had when I was young was snuffed put while listening to Techs albums. Even political anger was met with logic and rational lyricism. He may be real with it but drives home the point to never ever be like these evil people. That sentiment lasts.
in the full song the lyrics are seperated by instrumental bits, so you have time to let the part of the story you just heard sink in before the next part starts. i feel that makes this song, and especially the reveal in the end, a lot more inpactful than this shorter version.
10000%, I didn't realize it at first and thought she skipped ahead. The breaks for the hook and his line "But then again there's always the wicked that knew in advance" had a lot of impact
By far the most underrated artists that I'm aware of. In my book He's top five lyrically, and if you're looking just as the content he addresses, he's #1. He spends a lot of his time and money helping the community. He started Rebel Army Runs during the pandemic and delivered meals to the elderly and those in need door to door. He's traveled to and done fundraisers for Syrians, Palastenians, and other war-torn and poverty stricken people. As real as it gets.
TECH IS A CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LISTEN STORY TELLER ! PLEASE DON'T BE AFRAID TO DO THE LIVE VERSION ! / "YOU NEVER KNOW " IS A LOVE STORY , BUT ONLY LYRICS VERSION . THANK YOU !
Immortal Technique is class… Not enough reactions to his stuff. He is class… Leaving the Past, Mistakes, Rich Man’s World, Harlem Renaissance, Hollywood Driveby, Point of no return… So many… He is very smart and don’t rap about nonsense, he didn’t sell out, his own label, underground battle champion back in the day… Full version is better…
Yeah I am suprised too. Not many reactions vids to his stuff. Everyone will watch the Tom MacDonald. And I am like you all should be reacting to this too. Jedi Mind tricks led me to Immortal Technique way back when
💯 !!! I randomly came across him when I played the only song I ever played on Xbox live music which was an app they were pushing years ago. No idea if that’s still a thing… Anyway, I played 1 song and it was Immortal Technique, Freedom of Speech. Down the rabbit hole I went… absolute beast!!
Nothing but facts bro I think all the time that God creates prophets and chosen people all day everyday without them knowing it now because the last time he did it they crucified him in the most putrid way
4:35 Wrong, the animated version cuts some of the song out and doesn't let you paint the picture in your head. I'm super glad you did this, but I wish you watched him perform it live.
The fact this song isn’t far from reality hurts so much more. One of my best friends tried to join a local gang and they tweaked on him and killed him and his pregnant baby momma, they where 14 and 15
I obviously love seeing people's reaction to this video, but I wish I could somehow convince people to react to the studio recording. I think this animated video messes up the pacing of the song. But I guess for reaction purposes, the reactors probably think they need the visual for their audience.
Loved the reaction! never thougt that you would do immortal! but last verse on the song is not the complete version of it! 😊 Hope you do - You never know with him to 😊. 1❤
It's not a true story but it's a story based off reality around true life events unfortunately what's popular today in my generation with this love for trash drill music all day everyday kids need to hear this more often .. If they listen to this & they understand what not being about that life is immortal technique saved millions of corrupted young minds with this masterpiece 💯
This guy is one of my favorite rappers ever. He has so many awesome songs. Crimes of the heart Rich mans world Reverse Pimpology Land of the fun You never know ....So many song you can pick and he will blow you away with his lyrics.
i dont understand why people always get reactors to start with this song. It most often turns people off Immortal. He has so many good songs, but this one just scares people off. Its a good song, but not a good first one...
while that is true, a lot of reactors having this as a first from Immortal was good for them. Sometimes a song like this on their channels sets a baseline for what they want to see and show to the viewers going forward, and most reactors are better for it, even if they dont listen to more, which a lot actually do so its all just part of the great content cycle you do have a good point tho, not to take away from that
There are more lyrics to this song. The animated video cuts some of the setup out. Definitely check out the original video sometime, it's just as shocking the second time
i heard this when i was 14 first time smoking weed as well hahaha what a fkn experience ill never forget. top tier artist. all his music is thought provoking. he talks truth and exposes the corruption of governments. keep up the immortal technique reactions. you just gained a new sub !
i know im a bit late to this i just found your channel but im really digging it so far. I like reactions because they are similar to having a conversation about music which i love doing anyways i almost didn't watch this it's hard to watch someone hearing this for the first time. but te3ch doesn't get enough shine one of my favorite rappers def in story telling. you really check out other stuff like you never know which is sad as well but in a much less brutal way. or alternatively Harlem Streets or obnoxious for more of a standard kind of rap song.
This wasn't the full version. The real version's long, has breaks to let the story during the chorus and darkness of the story sink in, and it doesn't have a visual. Listen to the full song, to really peep how powerfull it is.. And also check out his You Never Know, heartfelt and powerful as well
Immortal technique said that if you dont believe what he said in his story he can take you to the place where it happened but he also said that some parts of the story isnt true because he wasnt there when they did that to billy’s mom but he knew what happened to the other guys that did that to his mom they all ending up dead (not peacefully) and as well as their children he also wanted the story to be gruesome because he said he wanted peoples attention and actually teach people a lesson to not join into gangs or have the same mentality as billy
I absolutely love your reactions! You’re like my favorite. Can you react to you never know by immortal technique? Keep Kleenex near by, I’ve listened to it a lot and have never made it through without legit tears running down my face.
And he remembered how his mom used to come home late, working hard for nothing cus now what was he worth? He turned away from the women that had once given him birth" idk why this exact line made me feel really sad inside
98% of this man's work is genius, but everybody wants to react to this track. And it's not a story about him, he explains in an interview, it's of a situation he knew about in his neighborhood.
1:45 I always thought he sounded a lot like Nas too with his flow and tone, and this is literally the third reaction video I seen to this song in a row and all three of you said right at the start that he sounds just like Nas lmao that’s crazy so yeah I guess none of us trippin an they do sound alike 😂 Edit:his storytelling ability is very much like Nas to, reminds me of NY state of mind a lil bit just kind of
*^^only watched 3 in a row cause kinda binging reaction videos to this song because peoples first reaction to the end be crazy asf, I still get goosebumps and I heard this song hundreds of times thru the years
please react to immortal technique's songs 3rd world, 4th branch and point of no return while dance with the devil is a /good/ song its not his best and most react to it and never react to any of his objectively better tracks.
These songs may be dark, but it's reality. I really like your take on rape awareness. It's DARK but it needs to be a discussion and the truth needs to be told how dark and brutal it really is.
WRONG VERSION / LIVE WITH RED BEENEE AND TEE ( 55 million views ) 7min + / PLEASE , PLEASE , PLEASE PLAY THIS VERSION !!! I USE THIS SONG TO TEACH WANNANABE THUGS AND GANG MEMBERS , THIS IS A TERRIBLE VERSION , TECHNIQUE IS UNDER GROUND , AND CAN HANG WITH THE BEST STORY TELLERS !
This song always makes me feel unclean. Part of it is naturally from the story and the graphic descriptions, but part of it is because of those last few bars. You don't have to be a black guy from a poor background to sell your morals and ethics in the hope of a better life, be it monetarily, emotionally, or otherwise. I strongly believe every person is capable of committing unspeakable horrors if the wrong factors line up. Likewise, we are all capable of great good, and we should struggle to do as much good as possible no matter what is put against us.
I heard this when I was like 13-15 and I’m 31 now. It still gives me chills. It’s one them songs I stay away from
Why this song is amazing
Same
Same bro. All that pumped up anger I had when I was young was snuffed put while listening to Techs albums. Even political anger was met with logic and rational lyricism. He may be real with it but drives home the point to never ever be like these evil people. That sentiment lasts.
Same I was 14 and now I’m 30 lol
Same here 😂 I’m 30 in feb ! Happy new years ahead of time everybody. 🙌🏾

As real as it gets.
He s the greatest for me
1:04 "Ya'll know I love a story time. So I'm here for this." Those are some last words if I've ever heard em, knowing this song.
Straight up exactly what I thought the same shit
I will always remember the first time I heard this song and being speechless and shocked.
understandable!
@@brittreacts can you please react to Alvin Lee, the bluest blues.
This isn’t the full version of the song. The official music video would’ve been better.
Yeah I have always hated this version. Such a powerful song, why would you chop it up and ruin it like that?
TECH IS A CLOSE YOUR EYES AND LISTEN STORY TELLER ! PLEASE DON'T BE AFRAID TO DO THE LIVE VERSION ! / "YOU NEVER KNOW " IS A LOVE STORY , BUT ONLY LYRICS VERSION . THANK YOU !
there's a longer version where the beat changes at the end and some nasty bars
This is by far the best hip hop / story telling song ever with a super powerful message at the end
Immortal Technique is class… Not enough reactions to his stuff. He is class… Leaving the Past, Mistakes, Rich Man’s World, Harlem Renaissance, Hollywood Driveby, Point of no return… So many…

Immortal technique "The point of no return" is the absolute best song he ever did by far.
MOST OF HIS WORK IS EXCELLENT !
i agree
Obnoxious, no
Mercy
Hell nah
that whole album is fire
4:35 Wrong, the animated version cuts some of the song out and doesn't let you paint the picture in your head. I'm super glad you did this, but I wish you watched him perform it live.
Heaviest song in the history of rap
This is really hard to swallow when it's all your imagination filling in the blanks.
IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE : " YOU NEVER KNOW " ( LYRICS ONLY )
SHE HAS TO DO THIS ONE NOW.
so underrated
One of the best written rap songs of all time
The fact this song isn’t far from reality hurts so much more. One of my best friends tried to join a local gang and they tweaked on him and killed him and his pregnant baby momma, they where 14 and 15
Another song that makes you think is Daddy by Korn. It is a hard one to get through, though.
How did you watch that without breaking down and shedding at least a tear or 2?
I obviously love seeing people's reaction to this video, but I wish I could somehow convince people to react to the studio recording. I think this animated video messes up the pacing of the song. But I guess for reaction purposes, the reactors probably think they need the visual for their audience.
more immortal technique please !!!
Immortal technique is dope .. old school 🔥🔥
선례를들어 나쁜범죄를 저지르지 말라는 교훈을 주는 노래다
At one minute and eleven seconds, I am going to predict she is not going to "love" this story time.
Loved the reaction! never thougt that you would do immortal! but last verse on the song is not the complete version of it! 😊
Hope you do - You never know with him to 😊.
1❤
thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Still one of the hardest rap songs to this day
It's not a true story but it's a story based off reality around true life events unfortunately what's popular today in my generation with this love for trash drill music all day everyday kids need to hear this more often ..
If they listen to this & they understand what not being about that life is immortal technique saved millions of corrupted young minds with this masterpiece 💯
True
Immortal technique said in an interview that the story is true but he was not actually there, you can find the interview on youtube
Hearing this for the first time is a rite of passage
Real Hip Hop & Storytelling at it's finest.
1:39 Same exact thing I thought when I first heard his voice.
This guy is one of my favorite rappers ever. He has so many awesome songs.
Crimes of the heart
Rich mans world
Reverse Pimpology
Land of the fun
You never know
....So many song you can pick and he will blow you away with his lyrics.
You seemed so innocent going into this, this song will make you grow up fast.
i dont understand why people always get reactors to start with this song. It most often turns people off Immortal. He has so many good songs, but this one just scares people off. Its a good song, but not a good first one...

you do have a good point tho, not to take away from that
Yeah the content of this song can be rough. Death March would be great to start with or rich mans world (1%)
i will keep that in mind ... ✍️
There are more lyrics to this song. The animated video cuts some of the setup out. Definitely check out the original video sometime, it's just as shocking the second time

Immortal Technique is a great Lyricist and has some really good music, . Hope you are ready for this one though
Even without the video -U can visualized a whole thing the way he tells the story by his words
THE THEME FROM " LOVE STORY " IS WHERE THE MUSIC IS FROM ! A REAL " TOUCH YOU IN THE FEELERS " MOVIE ( I BELIEVE '70S )
Immortal technique is a goat
Immortal Technique does not joke around.
Plz do more of Immortal Tech. Like u said, people are scared of the truth
i know im a bit late to this i just found your channel but im really digging it so far. The devils always with us
DMX showed us too. RIP
That’s story is real but immortal didn’t participate. But he said he knew where it happened and he knew the people. Greetings from France 🇫🇷
no one dare to touch the like button because it fits the video very well lmao
So more you might like. Jedi mind tricks, Vinnie Paz.
Oh god yes jus allah
I was flabbergasted the first time I heard this!
I always got from this story its ok but that's a woman a mother and ended up being his mom ....he traded his 1 and 3x back
BRO I HAVE BEEN LISTENING TO IMMORTAL TECH FOR A HOT ASS MINUTE AND NEVER MADE THE NAS SOUNDING CONNECTION IN MY BRAIN TILL U SAID IT
Also whyd the animator skip the freaking like hook gap in between versus :( this version also cut off the end part of the last verse :(
A cautionary tale, even though the story may not be true you must remember that all myth is built on a foundation of reality.
Good reaction. I recommend Immortal technique "you never know"
Man, I hadn't heard this song in years...
Thank you November rain next 🙏 please
😔😪 Spiritual battles everywhere. Trigger ⚠️ 4sure! R/A survivor 💪
There is an interview with him explaining this song on TH-cam. I won’t spoil it.
I absolutely love your reactions! You’re like my favorite. Can you react to you never know by immortal technique? Keep Kleenex near by, I’ve listened to it a lot and have never made it through without legit tears running down my face.
Non animated version is even better to be honest
i still love ur reaction to this
the story is not true
but he slays when it comes to rap and telling shit innit
purivan cocain
HAD TO JUMP ON THIS AS SOON AS I SAW IT ! #HOGLOVE2UBRITT
And he remembered how his mom used to come home late, working hard for nothing cus now what was he worth? He turned away from the women that had once given him birth" idk why this exact line made me feel really sad inside

His
Music
Welcome to the "party"
He wasnt there. He grew up in Harlem and this happend there. He s talking as pov. But this song is about not going INTO gangster life
I thought it was more lethal when he did it on stage
If you want to bring attention to another song about abuse that no other youtuber has reacted to, "What She Left Behind" by Vinnie Paz
This is a song I’ll show people if they haven’t heard it other then that I do not listen to it😂
98% of this man's work is genius, but everybody wants to react to this track. And it's not a story about him, he explains in an interview, it's of a situation he knew about in his neighborhood.
Please react to the whole song, there's missing parts in this version
Damn I hate when people react to the short version but you had a good reaction at least
Seems to me like it should have been titled "Twist of Fate"
This is a fan made video, there is no music video officially, u probably can assume why
Dag shoulda did the whole song
1:45 I always thought he sounded a lot like Nas too with his flow and tone, and this is literally the third reaction video I seen to this song in a row and all three of you said right at the start that he sounds just like Nas lmao that’s crazy so yeah I guess none of us trippin an they do sound alike 😂

This song fucked me up when I was like 15.
Shakespeare... this is Shakespeare
People prefer pretty lies vs uncomfortable truths
This seems to be the most common first song to react to for IT but it’d never be my suggestion(without at least saying it’s not a true story!!)
I love bumping this song before a drill
His so called friends knew that was his mom. :(
I think he sounds like nas cause they both from bx lol
Please check out snowhulkz Lone wolf in audiomack
Bummer. Gotta do the studio version for a first listen. Whoever said different is a dummy.
C-
This version completely ruins the song / story
Maybe this song is responsable for me rejecting thugness as a lifepath choice, that was open for me for sure.
He wasn't actually there, it's just to show you that the devil could be anyone among you.
Full version is better it gives you more depth into Billy's Story and better flow.
your sin was listening to the animated cut version rather than the original
please react to immortal technique's songs 3rd world, 4th branch and point of no return
while dance with the devil is a /good/ song its not his best and most react to it and never react to any of his objectively better tracks.
It's a true story but he was no way involved
These songs may be dark, but it's reality. I really like your take on rape awareness. It's DARK but it needs to be a discussion and the truth needs to be told how dark and brutal it really is.
The original version of this story is better the animation has some of the track removed, In the original version he’s on stage.
I would never do this to any woman ever
WRONG VERSION / LIVE WITH RED BEENEE AND TEE ( 55 million views ) 7min + / PLEASE , PLEASE , PLEASE PLAY THIS VERSION !!! I USE THIS SONG TO TEACH WANNANABE THUGS AND GANG MEMBERS , THIS IS A TERRIBLE VERSION , TECHNIQUE IS UNDER GROUND , AND CAN HANG WITH THE BEST STORY TELLERS !
