I actually learned to speak English from all my black homies. I remember my homies mom call me the n word. I was like that’s a bad word. She said you an n word to look at how you live and how you’re treated. We moved to the bay when I was 7 and in the hood I grew up in everyone used that word. It was just a part of the culture. I understand the point you’re making just trying to give you a different perspective. Much respect OG by the way we are probably the same age I might even be older.

Fxck... I'm in trouble then!! (Lmao, hopefully the well-intentioned (although "politically incorrect") sarcasm is understood! There's some of us "pale faces" that aren't so bad! We, the decent, true intentioned, and unbreakable people need to ALL UNITE. and as rage once said, "WE GOTTA TAKE THE POWER BACK!!!" From all these corrupt, evil, degenerate, hateful scum bags who keep trying to tear us down and make us submit to the narrative that we're not the same and must distrust and despise and demean our fellow men and women - they need the hateful cycle to continue - so they can keep using us against one another for profit! I ain't asking to come to the cookout or the Fiesta, but I won't turn the offer down haha "ONE LOVE!"

This is the first time I actually sat through an entire reaction video because I 100% agree with OG's perspective. Usually someone says something I don't agree with on other channels but this one all the way through was nothing but consistency in agreement. & the fact that you guys are father and son Reacting to this song is both bittersweet & trauma-healing to me. I respect the F out of both of you. Much love to you and yours !

I always love watching people first reacting to this song. It randomly came on for me one night on Spotify when I had way too much too drink, I was never the same afterwards lol. I’m not super into rap music (I’m a white woman from south wales lol) but this got me into older rap songs. I’m always thinking “oh my sweet summer child” before people listen to it lol.

Hey guys, love the reaction and breaking down of the story telling. As a friend from across the pond I would really push for you guys to check out some of the UK lyricists/story tellers. Some great ones to start you off would be
    Dave - Lesley
Rap Man - Shiro’s Story (all 3 parts)
With Dave particularly his album Psychodrama (Lesley is a song on that album) is basically him sitting talking to a psychiatrist, you can hear it in the opening/ending of most songs on the album. Dave as a rule of thumb, is arguably one of the best lyricists in the UK.
    Keep doing what you’re doing

I agree with pops on the n word with other races, but a lot of minorities in the inner city grew up saying it to each other, it’s like the word had no color to minorities. I’m Mexican and grew up in south Atlanta and used that word a lot, but when I got older I got educated and realized it isn’t my word to use even though I grew up saying it and everyone was cool with me saying it. Some ppl don’t get educated on it and continue to use it
