The story is true and he heard about it while locked up from what I can remember. Immortal Technique is as real as they come. He spends his money building things for youths that are in trouble to help out as he was one of them. He even built a school on the Middle East in a very dangerous area of Afghanistan. My Peruvian brother is a good one and he has so many other great songs. His use of words and timing is very unique. I suggest reviewing Big Pun, “Beware” off of the great album called “Capital Punishment”. He just might be the greatest dead MC / Lyricist. Also, review Immortal’s view on the N word on that VLAD interview. It may open your mind to understand.
The way I interpret his lyric about him being there during the crime, to me is super powerful painting it for us that these people brutalising others literally walk past us every day.
When she said this is deep in my head i was saying just wait till that part. But when he said its a true story and he did it too, immortal technique didn’t do it cause he is just the narrator but the story is 100% true cause he has taken people to the building to where it happened. I was traumatized when i first heard this song at the age of 11 but its grown on me since
From what i’ve heard this is a true story about his cell mate. I also heard that stories like this were told in tough areas to scare kids out of this kind of lifestyle.
He has said that he wanted to show how the black community is eating itself alive. No better way to do it than being absolutely brutal and honest. He also added in an interview that saying he was there was just for dramatic effect, but he heard similar stories in prison.
I watched an interview where he says While he wasn’t there the song is based on a true story like this Actually did happen and the police were looking for the people involved and the people involved started dying off. It’s some crazy shit
@Banana_Doppio yeah of course things like that have happened but not that particular incident he was talking about.. I've seen Immortal Technique speak on the topic before.
Song gives me the shivers everytime I listen. Reminds me of a kid I knew in college(high school to Americans) who was arrested for setting up a kid to arrange a meetkng to sort out a petty drug debt and then stabbed him to death. I thought about stuff he used to say to me like if I want really money I should sell cocaine and talkin about how hed send his girl outside to do his sales for him. It's True the devil grows in the hearts of selfish and wicked. He was a conflicted kid now dancing with the devil on a cold cell block. Whenever I hear this song I see his face and think about him but cant remember his voice just certain lines he said to me which were the devil showing himself that I never clocked onto at that time. He was very street wise I was out of my element.
First of his songs I ever heard. The lyrics just get more and more painful until every word feels like a knife stabbing you in the gut. One of the most soul crushing pieces of poetry I have stumbled upon. It is just a story, but it still gets me every time, he really is "good with words" as Joan Baez would say. I think the worst about this song is the realization how many people choose to go this path every single day, hoping to come on top, but in reality ending up in prison or dead while destroying countless lives along the way to their own funeral.
this is just a normal story to me i play this song in the shower when im cooking i love this song but seeing the fear and disgust in your eyes is the best thing i've seen today haha
So from what I've gathered from interviews and whatnot is that when Immortal was in jail his cell mate told him this story and was one of the monsters who participated in this and was going to prison for life and he wrote this based on a true story. Thats why he has the line in the chorus "ask a n***** doing life if he had another chance... Then again there's always the wicked that knew in advance"
This guy is the best rapper out there. React to his song cause of death. Yes he still does lyrics . He denied a Record deal bc he didnt sell himself. This song is to make people reflect very complex song
Actually real true story from US - “ joyner lucas - ross capicchioni “ if you have not heard this its defo worth a watch also a proper video about the story if you enjoy it 👌🏾 less traumatising than this 😂

Amazing art. He is like Rembrandt paintin death camps like he said! 1 love. Keep rokin th truth tech, your a legend in this art.
It's based on a true story, Immortal Technique only claimed to be one of the rapists for that extra shock valve. But the story itself is true and he's from Harlem. In a Bootleg Kev Podcast, Immortal Technique told the host he can take him to the building where it happened. Really dark story.
As far as.we.know it is just a story...But I am sure it has real world influences. but he did time in prison for assault. Dude just use to get into fights but never anything like that. Definitely check out more of his music. Years ago "the martyr" album was free on viper records. You could download the album or have them mail you a CD. The money made off his previous album ...I think it was called "3rd world" ...was used to build a school/orphanage for boys and girls in Afghanistan. The left over money he used to produce the martyr album so his fans didn't have to pay. He had a cool documentary about building the school/orphanage on TH-cam at one point. Might still be there. As for making music I haven't seen anything in a while. He spends most of his time as an "activist" . Glad you checked out the song. It is truly a hip hop masterpiece.

It may open your mind to understand.
having this song on the playlist is self-harm
Just followed because of the reaction. Finally a reaction I felt it was a real one.
The way I interpret his lyric about him being there during the crime, to me is super powerful painting it for us that these people brutalising others literally walk past us every day.
2001 and this still hits hard
When she said this is deep in my head i was saying just wait till that part. But when he said its a true story and he did it too, immortal technique didn’t do it cause he is just the narrator but the story is 100% true cause he has taken people to the building to where it happened. I was traumatized when i first heard this song at the age of 11 but its grown on me since
This song is gold, but darker than ink flowing into a black hole
From what i’ve heard this is a true story about his cell mate. I also heard that stories like this were told in tough areas to scare kids out of this kind of lifestyle.
The best reaction so far . Love you 😘
You never know by immortal technique.. yo really have to listen to this one. It's not dark but it's just as extraordinary
He has said that he wanted to show how the black community is eating itself alive. No better way to do it than being absolutely brutal and honest. He also added in an interview that saying he was there was just for dramatic effect, but he heard similar stories in prison.
I think you should react some different Immortal Technique songs. One of my favorites is is song Natural Beauty
I watched an interview where he says While he wasn’t there the song is based on a true story like this Actually did happen and the police were looking for the people involved and the people involved started dying off. It’s some crazy shit
Story is true, but indeed he wasn’t there
this song for the first time is very heavy, great reaction too
One of hip hops craziest songs ever!!!! No it's not a true story...
Hahaha I figured 😂
@Banana_Doppio yeah of course things like that have happened but not that particular incident he was talking about.. I've seen Immortal Technique speak on the topic before.
It's true I was there too
@@woodyforest7308 ok lol
@@woodyforest7308 I know who you are, and I saw what you did......last summer.
Yes a masterpiece of storytelling, very descriptive
It's not just a story. This song is true and he did serve time for his crime after the song was released. It really happened.
The way she says 'jameen' ... i'm in love
My new hobbie is watching people react to this lol
I didn’t bloody expect it 😂😂😂
So from what I've gathered from interviews and whatnot is that when Immortal was in jail his cell mate told him this story and was one of the monsters who participated in this and was going to prison for life and he wrote this based on a true story. Thats why he has the line in the chorus "ask a n***** doing life if he had another chance... Then again there's always the wicked that knew in advance"
Pure lyrical art. Story is from his cell mate btw
Ive fallen and i cant turn back…
Immortal technique is just beyond everything, i heard all his songs and interview! Simply ultimate. Not at all this era music , he is alien
This guy is the best rapper out there. React to his song cause of death. Yes he still does lyrics . He denied a Record deal bc he didnt sell himself. This song is to make people reflect very complex song
Listen to "The Point Of No Return" by Immortal Technique. The truth about everything since the beginning of time till now and forever.
This song scarred me as a kid when heard it in my OLDER brother's car, couldn't believe the storytelling even at that age
Wowee, bet you never turned to crime.
Did you??
Verse 3 is the kick to the balls, verse 4 is the baseball bat to the dome
Actually real true story from US - “ joyner lucas - ross capicchioni “ if you have not heard this its defo worth a watch also a proper video about the story if you enjoy it 👌🏾 less traumatising than this 😂
I love dance with the devil reaction videos.
I'm glad you went with the original and not the animated one. The animated one is abridged and doesn't hit as hard.
I didn't know until this video that I need a bubbly essex girl reacting to dark shit in my life. Subscribed
Hahahaha thank yaaa 😂
there are so many deep songs immortal tech. dude majored in political science hes a lot smarter then people think
Definitely the reaction the was expecting … absolutely brilliant Leah.. FYI it’s just a song 🤣🤣
not really it has meaning.
It's an urban legend in the neighbourhood he grew up in. He just re told it his own way!
Technique did this at the last show i see him at in ldn a few months ago. Whole room in silence
@BON STAR he wanted silence bro so people could hear the story properly
It's hard to believe tech could have been there, he's like a preacher on stage, proper raw spirit. And that sort of corruption is forever. Or he is living proof god is real and all loving. Amazing art. He is like Rembrandt paintin death camps like he said! 1 love. Keep rokin th truth tech, your a legend in this art.
He wasn't there. He put that line in for dramatic effect
Your the best real reaction to this ive ever seen
This rhythm was out many³ years ago. Hope this world gets better.
Listen to Immortal Technique - You Never Know.
You'll like that one if you're into the storytelling sort of thing.
The crazy thing is, this song could be a total confession, or not. We'll never know. That's how you dance with the devil.
This song reminds me the tone of it at least sounds like rapture by d smoke
Hes not insane he speaks the truth behind the streets
It's an urban legend from the area of new york he grew up in, he just re told it in his own way.
