  • Hello again everyone, today we’ll be making some Dish & Laundry Blocks. I got this recipe idea from Elly / Elly’s Every day, I’ve been wanting to try it out for a while and I am glad I did. It is milder on the hands compared to pure 100% coconut oil bars for cleaning. Made with 50% coconut oil & 50% rice bran oil. This recipe maintains a beautiful rich lather thanks to its high percentage of stearic acid. These blocks will last an incredibly long time, I am so glad I made these. I am also offering these for sale once they have cured!
I hope you enjoy the video, Thanks for watching and happy soaping!

I always recommend to run any recipe through a Lye calculator, even if it’s provided by Dawn Organics. I use LyeCalc to formulate all my recipes. It is my favourite as you can adjust lye purity; www.lyecalc.com/
