Pretty respectable performance from the Amazon TETC. I understand your comments regarding the robustness of it for commercial / industrial use. Would be interesting to see it tested by someone like Joe Smith with regards to its electrical robustness. I have been looking at the Amazon 80CM510, but it isn't currently shipping to the UK. It looks like that one is much closer to the CEM 355 / 356.
I would like to see Joe Smith get his hands on an AMAZON clamp meter. The series of test that J.S. puts his meters through I don’t think it’ll survive. Just saying.
The amazon meter seems good but does it have the integral safety features that fluke has? Also, longevity and ability to withstand a bit of abuse play a factor. I have had several different brand meters but trust fluke to keep me safe after have different brand meters give me false readings. Love your videos though and the work you put into them. Keep it up please
Well Ray, even though the AMAZON Clamp Meter did okay making measurements, it cannot come close to being as safe as any FLUKE test instrument. As far as longevity I guess it depends on how you use it and take care of it.
Great video In terms of safety, what do do you think the new amazon clamp meter to be safe when the buzzer test and accidentally touching a live wire?
