How I DEFINE my CURLS + COILING NATURAL HAIR (ALMOST 6 MONTHS)

I've been getting so many requests for another hair video, so here you go! This is my NEW coiling style that I like to do when I want super defined curls. This is a time consuming process, so if you're in a rush... then this might not be helpful. But if you have the time, it's perfect. This style literally can last me a full week before it gets matted or frizzy (I sleep on a silk pillow, so that maybe another reason why.
p.s I don't cover it up at night. I need to find me a nice bonnet or something lol

Super cute on you! I'm 6 months natural and I tried this on my hair. Didn't turn out like I hoped. I could see my scalp through the curls. Maybe it's not long enough yet? I don't know. My hair is pretty porous (dries quickly), fairly thin, and it has an extremely tight spiral curl pattern. When I put water on my hair and let it air dry, the spirals become uncomfortably tight. I have to put my fingers to my scalp and try to loosen them up. But I'm not complaining. I love what God gave me. I just have to learn how to work with what I've got. Thank you for providing us with such cute styles to try. Stay blessed!

Yes please because mine is cute the first day but omg the next day my hair is looking a hot mess but I refresh it and its like I had to redo it all over again

Loved this video and the hairstyle You should try shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie in the orange jar instead of the cantu moisturizer. When i do that, I don't get white residue before or after I apply my eco styler gel

That product dries out your hair, it’s amazing but after using it continuously for my wash and go’s I noticed my hair was dry and brittle and I had to cut about 2 inches off, since then my hair is fine and my curls are defined 👌🏽

So I cut my hair into a buzz cut in the beginning of the year and it's now it's a twa but I straightened 1 section of my hair for leave out and I didn't protect it because I didn't know if I wanted to be natural so now that one part is heat damaged and won't curl and idk if I should cut it all off again or what ?? Someone give me advice 😭😭😭😭😭

I think your curls might need some time to revert back to curly. Moisturizer and do protein treatments to strengthen your hair. Hope this helps!

Brianna Babe Hi, with both my and my sister’s natural hair we wet it while in the shower and just shake our head to revitalize the curls/coils. Then we just finesse our edges, lol.
