Ma’am!! I have NEVER had short hair in all my 40 years. NEVER! I went through a lot of hair loss this year and needed to make a drastic decision. I held on to the hair I had left like a comb over! This video gave me the confidence to go for it though... And HONEY I AM CUTE!

Lasean Joyce I just cut my hair off the exact same length as hers and I have a very similar hair texture to hers as well. I just graduated highschool this past June and I regret not cutting it sooner ! Iv gotten so many compliments on my hair and embracing your hair is something you shouldn't be hesitant to do. Just for it :)
Im about to start 10th grade and next week i have an appointment to do a big chop (a curly afro that's slightly going to be a little bigger than hers) and i thought about how people are going to judge me but you know what if you like it then who cares if somebody else don't. Girl I big chopped a week before I started my sophomore year and I seriously don't regret it. You'd be amazed by how many compliments you'd get. Just embrace it and and forget others' opinions. I'm sure you'll look gorgeous.
I feel the same way i never had my hair short like hers before but I wanna try but I’m afraid I might look like a boy because I don’t wear makeup but people have complimented me on how I look with semi short hair

If it weren't for your videos I honestly would be never went back onto my natural hair journey. I had done a big chop, relaxed it and had done another. I have a TWA but I love it, thank you for inspiring me to continue with the natural hair journey.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS!!! Thank You for this video. Idk how or what to do with my hair. I chopped it all off after a bout of depression last year. 2 of my fav Cousins passed away last summer & I just couldn't handle it. I cried for months & when everyone was like you have to see someone about this I got up & went to the salon & chopped it all off. I watch your videos for styling ideas. I have to try this.

You can only get finger waves of your hair is permed but gelling your hair down is another thing your hair naturally waves due to the hair texture

Disregard, nicely of course, the opinions people have about your hair. In case they haven't noticed your hair always looks good, curls are popping, and the growth is crazy. When it doesn't work anymore I'm sure you will re-vamp your process. That's what us naturals do.

I love the fact you kept it simple and didn’t add a bunch of products. I don’t know about you but I get a lot of build up if I use multiple products when styling my twa ❤️❤️

Thank you so much! this really made it so much easier for me. I used to have super long hair but after I relaxed my hair, I started to miss my afro. So I recently, cut off all my relaxed hair and since this was my first time with super short hair I had no idea what I was doing. This really helped :) *subscribed*

How do you prevent your hair from becoming crispy from all that gel?
That's what I'm trying to figure out... I tried this and my hair was sooo white and flakey from the gel
keys nicole I think I figured it out. The flakes develop when the gel and moisturizer or leave in do not mix well with each other. What I recently found works for me is the gold eco styler gel with Paul Mitchell’s “The Conditioner” leave in or I use the As I Am “Buttercreme moisturizer”
