That bridge with all the arches looks amazing over the water. Yes would have been cool to see the Lancaster bombers going over the dam. Great view over the dam. Wow Tip was a very devoted dog. The Howden reservoir looks amazing too. Great pic with your bike and the MG with the lake.

You are lucky! Someday I will get there and ride but for now I’m in the Bay Area of California with a getaway place near Yosemite National Park. We do have some epic rides but Europe is definitely on a bucket list.

That’s a cool story about how they practiced there. History is the best. My wife told me recently that she could see more on the bike if my big-ass helmet wasn’t in the way.
It is really cool, the flypast they had a few years ago was amazing with Spitfires and Lancaster bombers flying through the valley. Sound was incredible.

Yes they are! When the body was discovered they found the poor dog curled up in the corner, they thought she was a coat until she started wagging her tail. They think she survived by eating other dead animals that had died from the cold. She was still reluctant to leave.

The derwent is my partner’s favourite place to go on her bike, she loves going for a coffee,cake and feeding the ducks there, then riding back via the hope valley :-)

@@BunnyKingHogs yes the other came over from Canada especially for that occasion...only two in the world that are air worthy...there is another one in the the u.k..but currently only used for taxi runs up and down runway(no licence to fly) my father has my grandfathers original flying log book...fascinating to read

@@BunnyKingHogs mainly ride a Rt1200!(16plate)But also a boxer cup Replika!I chose bmw coz I ride year round!And BM offer year round rides!Never though pt I,d ever get a BMW(But I am a old man!😁)I also have a air cooled Rt,I just love the way it puts down the power!Ii,v had every sports bike,but never rode a Harley.BMW GIVES YOU HEATER SEAT&grips,along with massive electric screen!Handles better than any 90s sports bikes Iv owned!Just love em!My wife rides SV650!(But she is 17yrs younger than me!)Im lucky that in my 39yrs of riding sports bikes,I can keep up(being modest 🥴)with most sports bikes I encounters the Rt does me well!Its not all about speed.But it is!😁,
That first 'lovely old car' (the red one) was a Triumph TR6 and is probably my favourite British sports car. The second one, the grey/silver car, was an MGB Roadster and looked very much like the one that was restored in the TV series 'An MG Is Born' hosted by Mark Evans.

oh wow, we were lucky to be standing on the hill looking down as the bomber and spitfires flew through the valley. Strange to be looking down onto them

i watched a show about the planning and development of the dam busters .i have to say your footage shows the beauty of the place far better than the special i watched.Your country is gorgeous.i live in urban chicago illinois usa ,It is slowly taking on a dystopian feel that is rather creepy and hard to believe is happening.I should motovlog to share with the word !

Nice little ride out id forgoten how nice snake pass area is parts of it look like black forest when ive recoverd i may take my bmw k1600 or lovely old goldwing for a day out with a picnick and columbian coffie just a month or two thanks for showing us your ride

@@lesliewilliams8432 used to be the police van trapping but haven't seen it for a while now, although tbh we don't ride there often
I see the roads you riding have no cars at all, man I wish I could find some roads like that. Any roads I take where I live they try to run you off or they think ur in the way and try to pass u. Thanks for the video.
