This video guide covers the strategies I’ve developed over the past ~1.5 years for my C2 Melt Amber playstyle. I believe this is an understudied topic, so there isn’t a clear best playstyle for C2 Melt Amber yet.

Why Elegy for the End's Timer Wasn't Included
The cooldown for Elegy for the End's buffs doesn't start until Diona acquires all 4 Sigils of Remembrance. Diona gains these Sigil stacks slowly because of Signature Mix's tick rate. This means the cooldown starts late enough into the rotation that the weapon's passive will still be on cooldown by the time Diona uses her first ability in the rotation. Thus, Elegy for the End's buffs don't activate in the same part of the rotation.

Experimental Pre-C2 Melt Amber Rotation: • Bunny-Less Rotation VS...
For context, Diona was on Favonious Warbow to make up for the lack of pyro particles. This rotation requires funneling Diona's white particles into Amber, so Diona does need to stand a distance away from the enemy to have enough time for Amber to catch those particles. Amber also had the usual 100% ER in this run, though I'd strongly suggest building some ER% on Amber if you're not using her bunnies. This rotation requires perfect funneling otherwise.
Really nice guide I'm actually learning quite a lot which is refreshing.
One minor error I found was with polar star, as C2 you canno't get all stacks for the Bunny as those stacks are on hit not on cast
Another thing to note: this weird phys arrow can also happen by enemies simply removing the element. Enemy attacks CAN react with your arrow, those new big hydro slime-like mobs putting out my arrow before it reaches them or Raiden Boss hitting it mid-air with a slash which gets you overloaded
Thanks for pointing those out! I’ve been trying to figure out the physical arrow thing for quite a while. These are some important things to note, so I’ll pin your message.
Something I wanna mention:
Because the way the game is coded; if your charged shot triggers overload; that overload is still considered a "charged shot"; any barron bunnies within the overload radius will be detonated and gain the +200% additional damage.

Unfortunately, it may be difficult for me to keep doing this every 2-4 weeks. Especially because I don’t have a proper editing team, this video took 2 full months to create and required 4-6 hours of editing every day to produce.
The few people (especially me) that contributed the most to this video did burn out a bit and need to take a break from making another huge video like this. We also don’t have another “research topic” that can be talked about at this level of quality yet. Specifically, this video was the culmination of my experiences with testing and playing C2 Melt Amber for ~1.5 years, so it’ll be quite a while before I can develop something worth showing like this again.
I wish I could keep up a schedule of producing videos like this as frequently as you mentioned, but I’ll have to keep these videos restricted to subscriber specials only, especially because of graduate school.
One thing I’ll mention, however, is that there’s currently some research going on in Furu’s server for making a rotation that gets Amber’s burst back without using Baron Bunny. I have a rotation for it that works for the most part, but it’s extremely unforgiving with funneling. In other words it may be possible to make this team work for C0/C1 Melt Amber too. Depending on how successful we are when experimenting with a pre-C2 Melt Amber rotation, this could be my next subscriber special. Once again, this may take a while, but I personally believe it’s better for me to solidify my understanding of this topic before I release a video on it, lest the quality of the content ends up worse.

In another comment I made to someone else who mentioned something similar, I brought up that this video was the culmination of ~1.5 years of experience with this team. I’d need to do a lot of research on another topic (and wait for the members who contributed most to this video to recover from burnout) to make a video like this again, as well as balance that out with graduate school.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to drop the idea of making special videos like this. I’d like to do this again in the future. But, for it to be reasonable for my schedule, I do need to keep it as occasional subscriber special videos.
I’ve seen some people use Chongyun instead of Rosaria, and I personally prefer him more. What are your thoughts on him instead of Rosaria? I don’t have elegy for Diona, so I put my favonious on her. I also do have an R3 wolf’s gravestone which I put in Chongyun along with nobless.
I don’t know too much about the variant with Chongyun unfortunately. My focus has been exclusively on the Amber, Rosaria, Diona, and Sucrose team. All I know about the Chongyun variant is that you should combo his burst (and maybe skill) with Amber’s burst to reverse-melt every hit of Chongyun’s burst, which can output a huge amount of damage. You also need to find a way to work around the lack of cryo application for Amber’s melt damage. Furu is probably the better person to ask about the Chongyun variant.
Regarding Diona’s bow choice, it’s fine to put Favonious Warbow on her. In fact, with two Favonious users on Amber’s team, you can sometimes skip Rosaria’s third skill and focus on shooting as many charged attacks as possible. One other thing I’d like to add is that putting Favonious weapons on Diona and Rosaria can generate enough energy (if you are perfect with funneling) to let Amber complete the rotation without her Baron Bunny. I have details about a potential rotation (with a video example) in the description of the video, though that rotation for pre-C2 (bunny-less) Amber is still in development and being tested by me and a few other players.

Insane video, today I bought c2 from the shop because of this video! I have two questions. Do I give her R1 Amos (don't have and probably won't have any other 5* bows), R5 Ibis Piercer or any craftable? I have like 4 or 5 billets. And the second question, I can use Fav on both Diona and Rosa for comfort, but I also have a PJWS unused there and I thought maybe I can give it to her to build crit?
Congratulations on obtaining C2 Amber! About your questions,
1) I was about to refer to you n1tr0t0m's build guide (docs.google.com/document/d/1pYo6KRqYmJJH1rErPJMl-g_YS1E0gMAR3Rl3mKr8OL4/edit), but I just noticed that there aren't any calculations for Hybrid Melt Amber. This is probably because there hasn't been much research on the theory of Hybrid Melt Amber. But, I'd say that Amos' Bow is probably your best bow for Hybrid Melt Amber, even if the weapon's passive doesn't help Baron Bunny's damage. Just make sure to still build a decent amount of CRIT Rate on Amber to avoid having to reset Spiral Abyss runs often due to non-CRIT hits.
2) I tried running Favonious Warbow on Diona and a non-Favonious weapon on Rosaria in the past, but I've never been able to find a way to reliably proc the weapon's passive 3 times in a single rotation. You can probably get away with making Diona the Favonius user while running Primordial Jade Winged-Spear on Rosaria. However, you will need to build ER% on Amber at that point and potentially sacrifice other offensive sub-stats. You may also need to come up with your own fixed rotation to accommodate for the different gameplay.
I thought C4 was mandatory to play Amber Melt?

This took a bit of time to figure out the answer to because no one has actually done calculations on the C2 playstyle before, but thanks to members of Furu's Discord server yesterday, we now have a weapon ranking (it'll include Battle Pass weapons and 5-star weapons just in case you have access to them). I should mention that this is a bit weird to calculate because the weapons don't always buff both charged attacks and bunnies. However, most of the numbers look relatively similar to each other, unless we start going into the 3-star weapons. If you want more details, I'd recommend joining Furu's Discord server to see the calculations yourself, but I'll still leave what they found here (all calculations assume max refinement and assume the weapon passive is triggered, unless stated otherwise).

Given the extensive list, here's the suggestion from Furu's Discord server: For F2P options, Prototype Crescent is the best for situations where you can hit weak spots, while Song of Stillness is better if you can't hit weak spots. However, keep in mind that many enemies these days don't have a weak spot (or at least don't expose it throughout the fight), so Song of Stillness might be the preferred choice.
This list may be updated over time with fine-tuning in calculations, so I'll edit or send another reply if the members of Furu's Discord server do more calculations.
Hello, I do not have Sucrose but I managed to get Kazuha. How should I do my rotation ? Is it the same that the one showed in this guide ? Thank you
Hi! I’m not too experienced with using Kazuha in Melt Amber teams, but based on my observations of other Melt Amber players, you'll typically want to infuse cryo with his burst and swirl pyro with his skill.
In the case of using Kazuha instead of Sucrose in my team specifically, you’d cast his burst during his first turn in the rotation (to swirl and infuse cryo) and then use his skill during his second turn in the rotation (to swirl pyro).
However, this does mean that Kazuha’s burst is required for every rotation, unlike Sucrose’s burst, if you want to swirl cryo. Therefore, you will need to build enough energy recharge on him to cast his burst every rotation.
That’s all I can add about using Kazuha instead of Sucrose. I’d suggest watching @SaffronTuscan's videos to get a better idea of how to use Kazuha in a Melt Amber team: www.youtube.com/@SaffronTuscan.

Is this the best team for c2 amber nuke overall? Since i don't have rosaria and sucrose built yet. I want to nuke with baron bunny against scaramouche and my team has amber(she's on 4p crimson witch with aqua), bennett, kazuha, diona (she's not c6 but is on instructor and has elegy)
It’s not, but Furu and I want to find ways to make Melt Amber work without Bennett nor Kazuha.

@@kocogiexemau7378 Assuming no other character needs Amos' Bow, I'd keep that bow on Amber, even if the passive doesn't buff Baron Bunny's damage. It's still a really good stat stick.
