One thing I hate, in general but also as an American, is people saying "You don't speak English/you don't speak English like me so you're not American". I've had friends who are no longer bilingual because "this is America, you speak English", when America is supposed to be a place excepting of everyone, which, at least in some places, it almost never is.
The funny thing to me is that sure, most americans speak English, you guys are one of 3 countries that doesnt have a national language, meaning that if people want to run their entire shop only for the spanish speakers, legally they have every right to do that- unlike in say, canada, where labels have to be in english ans french in most places.

i have a story today it happened in school... so i am in band with a relatively small group of concert band students (middle school) and currently trying to get into symphonic, think of it as advanced band, anyway, this random girl in my class puts her stand where im supposed to sit with papers and stuff on it and she was talking to someone else (presumably her friend) and completely ignored me. so i had to more the stand by myself. now what i didnt realise is that behind the fricking wall of papers there was a chromebook and a water bottle! so those dropped to the floor and she looked at me and she got mad and became all wide eyed and stuff. later, after her "shock" she demanded i pay for a new "47" dollar waterbottle that had a teeny dent at the top from the impact and a BRAND NEW PC and her chromebook did NOT have ANY damage to it whatsoever, and she dropped my flute ON PURPOSE and the headjoint connecting thing to the main part got severly bent. now those headjoints cost a good 300 bucks and she wanted me to pay for something so small? i refused and she didnt pay for the messed up headjoint either. i feel like she is gonna become an entitled karen when she grows up...

ngl Aloha is one of my favorite words and I genuinely use it in my daily vocabulary. it's such a chill way to greet someone, or say goodbye. I even use it as an emotion, saying "I'm feeling aloha" to say something similar like "I'm feeling relaxed and happy"

i have a story today it happened in school... so i am in band with a relatively small group of concert band students (middle school) and currently trying to get into symphonic, think of it as advanced band, anyway, this random girl in my class puts her stand where im supposed to sit with papers and stuff on it and she was talking to someone else (presumably her friend) and completely ignored me. so i had to more the stand by myself. now what i didnt realise is that behind the fricking wall of papers there was a chromebook and a water bottle! so those dropped to the floor and she looked at me and she got mad and became all wide eyed and stuff. later, after her "shock" she demanded i pay for a new "47" dollar waterbottle that had a teeny dent at the top from the impact and a BRAND NEW PC and her chromebook did NOT have ANY damage to it whatsoever, and she dropped my flute ON PURPOSE and the headjoint connecting thing to the main part got severly bent. now those headjoints cost a good 300 bucks and she wanted me to pay for something so small? i refused and she didnt pay for the messed up headjoint either. i feel like she is gonna become an entitled karen when she grows up...
