Best Lounges at DFW: Plaza Premium, The Club, AMEX Centurion

I really appreciate this because I travel out of DFW a lot but don''t always use AA. Choosing the right route then ends up coming down to lounges and this review saved me time as a result so thanks! Also, tell holly she has super cool hair.🤣

Just fyi for anyone reading - As of June 2023, apparently you can access the Plaza Premium Lounge again as part of the Priority Pass network :)

Great tip @karolina-qc5jy ! And as these things are always changing, it's a good idea to check access before making any plans! Don't want to show up to a Lounge and find out AMEX dropped your access abilities!!

Definitely glad I discovered this video. I’m a AMEX platinum holder as well. Will have a 2 hour layover there next month. Not sure which lounge I will pick. They all seem pretty nice. I heard the pilot mention Panama City. I’m going to assume you’re both Floridians as well. 😉

Centurion holds a special place in our hearts and if you’ve never been to one, we’d recommend it (as long as there isn’t a wait)! But if you have the time and enjoy iced lattes, it is worth the trek to Terminal E!!!

Back in June 2021 was the only Plaza Premium lounge in the USA at DFW? Now Plaza Premium is in: Boston, New Jersey, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C. 👀

I'll be at DFW later this month. I recently purchased Dragon Pass (rather like a Chinese Priority Pass, but gaining popularity as Priority Pass loses access to lounge-after-lounge in U.S.) I'm eager to try Plaza Premium which, as you mentioned, is the only Plaza Premium in the U.S. However, the new Capital One Lounge, also currently the only one in U.S., is operated by Plaza Premium which probably explains why Plaza put its own lounge at DFW. By the way, Priority Pass members lost access to all Plaza Premium languages in July of 2021. Plaza Premium now offers its own Pass as well as admits Dragon Pass holders. Interesting, we will have to look into the Dragon Pass! If you can access the Capital One lounge at DFW it is by far the best!!! We were recently able to visit and it has the best food and tons of seating. Enjoy your visit 😌

We entered using our Amex Platinum card! It grants you access into Priority Pass lounges plus American Express Centurion lounges 😌
