It's neat to see how many airports are getting Skylinks of their own nowadays
Way better than the process in the Calgary or Chicago airports that's for sure
This really eased my mind as I'm traveling alone for the first time
That's so great to hear - it's exactly why I made the video!
Same. I'm flying alone for the first time in a few days and have a connecting flight at dallas
This helped me and my friend out we are flying to LAX in October.
@@AshleyONeil-py8sl sameee, its my first time and i just turned 16 yesterday
Thank you for this! I've been so confused about SkyLink because the airports I've been to do not have these features. I'm flying into DFW for a 55 minute layover before flying into Oklahoma for a few days during my first multi-destination trip this fall, and I've been dreading it because I'm intimidated by DFW's grandeur due to past experiences at O'Hare. The thought of not being able to make my connecting flight has me stressing three months in advance, but this video helped eliviate that feeling significantly. In addition, I've come to realise DFW might be my most pleasant airport experience to date despite its size!
DFW doesn't involve as much walking as O'Hare and is not nearly as confusing. Glad to help with the anxiety, have a great trip! 🙂
DFW is by far the most convenient large airport I’ve ever been to. It’s accessible via rail from both Dallas and Fort Worth. TSA lines are never long. Ample stores and restaurants. Thanks to the Skylink train, you’ll never have to walk far to your gate if you’re catching a connection. I love that it’s my home airport and I wish some of these other airports were designed with the passenger in mind like DFW clearly was.
Yea they do a good job balancing size and convenience
I gotta agree. I flew from dfw to Orlando recently. Takes a few min to go thru tsa at dfw but over an hour at Orlando. Because there are 6 individual terminals and no central hub like at most airports, lines are very short, rarely a long walk, and parking is probably the most convenient of any large airport in the country. Park, walk into terminal and gates are only a few feet away.
I love DFW airport. It's my most travelled airport.
It's a good one
Thank you for this. I’m traveling alone. For the first time.
Where are you headed?
After watching a video, I've resolved my uncertainties about choosing between SFO and DFW for my layover during my trip to the US. I've decided to opt for DFW, thanks for your video
You're welcome, have a great trip 🙂
this makes me feel sooo nostalgic!!! reminds me when being in Dallas for first time in my life
Must have been a good time to remember it fondly 🙂
Yes, the Skylink saved my feet especially flying from Hawaii to DFW then on to IAH to get to Galveston. I love the layout and the organization especially for a big airport. It was easy to navigate
Glad it worked out for you, travel days can be draining so saving time and energy can be key
OMG It is a really useful 👍🏻 Thank you so much !
You're welcome! 🙂
I'm so blessed and happy.
That's a good way to be, especially when you travel
Nicely done!
Thanks! 🙂
Thank you so much
You're welcome 🙂
Thanks for that
You're welcome 🙂 Safe travels
thankyou thank you thank you!
You're very welcome - safe travels 🙂
I took this skylink around the entire airport twice because my flight to CLT was 2 hours away
How did you like it?
I'm flying to see my friend in Edinburg Tx and my layover is going to be in Dallas fort worth to McAllen international. A little nervous about finding the tram and where to go next. Your videos helps a lot!
Happy to help 🙂
Thanks for the video I have one hr flight connection it seems to be very easy to navigate
Plenty of time! You may even be able to stop for a bite, they've got some good options - although I recommend doing so near your departure gate, just in case 😉
@@VacationImpossible Thanks alot I appreciate it
Thank you for posting! So if you are arriving from London in Terminal D how do you know which way to go to get to your connection in Terminal A? Does the Skylink only go in one direction (clockwise/counterclockwise) or both directions? Cheers!
It should make a loop
Note if you land on an international flight, you can’t get to skyline to transfer to another terminal. You have to use the bus shuttle outside
That wasn't my experience coming from Canada
So by using the skylink inside security, you don't have to worry about going through security again? I have a flight in a couple weeks to this airport and will have a 1 hour layover, so I'm worried about getting through security in time for my next flight. It'll be my first time flying alone.
Exactly!
Like Terminal E Skylinks are placed on hold during a severe weather. So you half go out of Terminal E & take the TerminaLink Bus to Terminals A, B, C & D.
I'm going from satellite E (E24B) which connects to terminal E to Terminal D. I hope the map GPS is good. Stressful.
Thankfully it has good signage and is relatively intuitive
I’m flying by myself for the first time. I’m going from terminal E to terminal B can I catch the skylink or do I have to get on the terminal bus
Looks like you'll be going from one end of the airport to the other but yes Skylink should take you there
@@VacationImpossible do you know what area I catch the skylink if I am arriving at gate E35
It should be easy to find, the signage is good and it will look similar to what we show in the video
Do we need to go through security check again if I go from terminal A (American Airlines - Domestic) to terminal D (Qatar)l international
Not if you take Skylink, it's within the security perimeter
@@VacationImpossible Thank you!!
@Isaiye you're welcome 🙂
I went to Dallas airport to Terminal D
Hope it worked well for you 🙂
I used to live in Alabama
Did it require you to transfer planes in Dallas often?
If i am heading to los angeles for the first time i have to go drive the skylink
Drive?
have to do all this at 16 with my little sister 🤨🤨🤨
Thankfully it's pretty straightforward and hopefully this video gave you an idea what to expect
@@VacationImpossible yeah it did thank you!

YOLANDA RUSSELL AND MICHAEL TOMBERLAIN HAS DESTROYED SKYLINK SYSTEM!
Who are they and how was it destroyed?
