When foreigners visit India, they often stick to the Golden Triangle. But for some truly beautiful spots, head to places like North Sikkim, Ladakh, Meghalaya, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Aru Valley, Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Spiti Valley, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Ajanta and Ellora Caves, Statue of Unity, Rani Ki Vav, and Lakshadweep. This is where me and my wife went for our honeymoon so Kerala has a special part in our heart! You should also try the backwaters in Alleppey and stay on a house boat for a night or two.
While travelling in a bus in India,especially long rides, never sit at the rear end of the bus. The ride will be very bumpy and shaky, and you will feel travel sick. Sit at the middle of the bus instead. The ride will be more comfortable and less hectic. Have a nice time in India. 😊👍

If you are getting bus agian in india try to get front seats they are less bumpy than back seats
You must visit the north eastern states of India. Specially Meghalaya. Its a natural wonderland. Clouds, mountains, canyons, caves, living root bridges, rainiest place on earth (mawsynram), Asia's cleanest village (mawlynong), crystal clear water bodies. Less crowd, also completely different culture, cuisine. The other states that you might check out are sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, mizoram, Assam

Absolutely amazing.visit k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place. Whenever you start a short solo trip of 4-5 days, Moses Peak is a must. It is a 5300m height۔ from the top of moses pea which you can see the views of the K2 world second highest peak in the world, Nangaparbat, K6 k11 and K 12 views in one frame. best time from May to October. This is a family tracked.its open Zone, one did not need a trekking permit or have to pay Royalty fee to climbed this Mountain tower

While you're in southern part of india , don't miss the untouched and uninvaded ancient temples in kerela , Tamil nadu and madhya pradesh .

I wished we had more Munnar in Kerala. Kerala top elevation is 2700m. It's sad that my state is only 38,863 km². Wished my state to be big with many Top Hill Stations with peaks higher than 3000m. Wished we had more beaches and more backwaters. Wished we had more cities and industries. Wished we had more wildlife.😢😢😢

If you want a fresher experience, consider visiting Sikkim, Meghalaya, Spiti Valley, and Andaman and Nicobar Islands in India. Delhi is not recommended.

Tourism depart ment has to take it seriously .Plantation staff asking tourist ot go away .I dont think these are private property it is all govt land leased to companies for cultivation alone.Local people annoying tourist has to be nipped at the bud it seems a new tendancy in munnar .Few domestic toursts must file compaints.
Take private buses instead of Government buses. They are also cheap and budget friendly.
