After months in Pakistan, I find myself in a completely different world - Taiwan! It’s my first time in East Asia, and… let’s just say that the culture shock was real ;)
We are starting this Taiwan travel vlog in the capital of Taipei. From discovering the cutest public transport system ever (wait till you hear the bus stop sound!), to wandering through mysterious temple ceremonies, to trying my first-ever bubble tea in its birthplace... this is just the beginning of exploring an island that the world somehow seems to have forgotten about.
What's in this video:
* Traveling on a Budget: from staying in cheap hostels, to taking public transport, to eating at local food spots - in this video you’ll see how to explore Taipei without breaking the bank
* Exploring Taipei’s Culture: Witnessing ancient ceremonies at Longshan Temple and learning about moon blocks, offerings, and spiritual traditions
* Taiwan Tourist Attractions: Getting lost in the bustling streets of Ximending, trying bubble tea for the first time in its homeland, admiring the Taipei 101, hiking up Elephant Hill, and visiting Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall
* Beyond the City: Wandering through Jiufen's Spirited Away-inspired alleyways and releasing sky lanterns in Shifen (plus some... interesting street food attempts 😅)

Thanks for the wonderful vibe through your cycling video.
Even though it is all the common tourist place in Taipei, but you make it really beautiful! I enjoyed revisiting through your eyes.
Nice work 😊😊😮🎉
Flora you have tremendously levelled up your Production quality, the storytelling is marvellous and you have a brilliant way of showcasing places. I loved and enjoyed watching your Pakistan videos. All the very best for your time in Taiwan💜.
even if you human slaves fill this entire prison world with palm size papers called money that still can't make land to expand that still can't make air & water to increase that still can't make land to produce crops trees vegetables flowers that still can't make trees to produce fruits leaves wood that still can't make aether sun water to produce electricity that still can't make land to produce oil gas minerals that still can't make animals birds fish to reproduce that still can't make cows sheeps hens to produce meat milk wool eggs but you human slaves still believe that you need to earn & pay palm size papers called money to be alive because you human slaves are under mind control * * * * * * * * * * * *
Love from India 🎉
Thank you for sharing your experience as a female traveler I watched a lot of videos about Pakistan pakistani people seem very friendly and hospitable But tbh I wouldn't feel comfortable if there was a lot of people staring at me I can't handle the attention especially as a girl with social anxiety 😂
Would never travel to Pakistan, BangaFlesh, Afghanistan etc. etc.
everybody don't mind barri garri wale angress ko dekh kr sb kch pochne lag jate hen or yehi gareeb wahan bhoka mar raha hota h to ye barri garri wale apni oqat dikha dete hen like Vego Vehicel aske her Do you need water? Do you need anythings bull shit men
Well, I really enjoyed this video, it has a very nice vibe and I'm glad it ended well. Subscribed to your channel.
If you haven't cycled for quite some time your butt will hurt, but the more you do it the more it won't hurt. Butt your knees will when you get off the bike, like you can't walk.
Just started watching and it looks promising
This video series is gonna be great. Flora is SO good at story-telling/exploring and they're SUCH a cute couple and I love their honest reactions to their experiences.
Wonderful video, so well put together. We just returned from Taiwan, so it brings back good memories
One of the best vlogers.
Can you please - at some point of your convenience - make a course on how you do sound design for your storytelling. I learn so much from just watching how you build your stories and weave the sound of the ambiance, music and your VO's. But it'd be awesome to see if there is some method to the madness... or if it just a skill you have... as in if there is a way you compose your stories... if it starts in text, in a soundtrack or if it starts in editing what you captured... ether way. I guess it's a long way of saying that I really enjoy how you tell your stores. So. Keep on having fun doing that regardless! :D Thank you!
what a amazing way to start, I will for sure be following along . Both of you make the best travel videos, please keep doing it.
Wait till you visit Japan. In many ways it's Taiwan++ You'll be blown away ~
you are beautiful
Unblelievable shots of Marsur rock with you sitting at the edge...that should win some award for the photography, cinematography. Overall great surroundings and looked so refreshing, the joy of downhill after a steep climb...wonderful journey.
I really enjoyed your vlog, being a Pakistani, from Lahore i have never visit these Places. I feel difficult to breath in such higher altitude places. But it's beauty Attract me to go there.
Love you From Bangladesh 🇧🇩❤❤

I am from India, currently staying in the Netherlands, and I have never seen such a beautiful Pakistan, but only through this video, I can imagine cycling uphill is really a tough job, and I appreciate you taking that risk on your own and making it successful in the end. I enjoy cycling in the Netherlands, the country has dedicated paths for cyclists everywhere, and I just love it.
Amazing video.
She’s got a hidden talent in filmmaking
Hidden???
Great work as always
The cinematography in this had no reason to go this hard, damn! EYE CANDY ! Beautifully presented!!🤌🏻
I've watched a lot of Taiwan videos, this one is so well made and beautiful. Thank you :)

Lots of love back!
Hey, Flora! I want to visit Pakistan recently and your video came across. And now that you just made a video of my country! Thank you so much for this beautiful work. <3 Welcome to Taiwan. btw, the producer from Spirit Away confirmed that Jiufen wasn't the place which inspire the movie work. :)
Hey there! Thank you for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed it 🫶 Awww haha that’s too bad. It really did feel like a movie scene though 🥹
Great video, but I need to add a correction at 0:42 - I don't think anyone has forgotten about it, to be honest. Maybe as a tourist destination, but I keep reading news about Chinese fighter planes and boats crossing into Taiwanese airspace and coast nearly every other week.
True! I definitely meant it more in the sense of underrated as a tourism destination though :) thanks for watching!!
It's really absorbing mam.❤
Thanks 🙏 appreciate you!
A new adventure starts here, amazing
