  • Here are the settings I use in Forza Horizon 5 to make the driving experience MUCH more enjoyable. Before adjusting these settings there was lots of noise coming from the wheel (especially during Off-roading), very loose feeling to the rear of a majority of the cars and wasn't smooth when driving.
Adjusting to the settings I show in this video, the cars all become much more responsive, easier to control, and correct steering if it does start to slide. In regards to noise, nearly all of the noise is eliminated on asphalt and only heard on rough landings or jumping off cliffs while driving Off-road vehicles. Off-roading with road cars on regular tires still produces some noise, but it is reduced greatly from the "stock" settings.

Hello, finally found some good settings. Just wondering, what about traction and stability control, are those on or off? And for the braking setting would you have assisted braking, anti-lock off or ant-lock on?

A lot of that will depend on your personal skill level. I use no assists, everything is off.
If that's too much for you, or you're still new, you can start with assists on and turn them off one at a time. So once you get comfortable controlling the car, you can turn off, stability control, then traction control, then save ABS (On, not assisted) for last.

Are you using the buttons on the wheel to go into settings on the menu? If not, it will pull up the settings for controller and won't show the additional options.

If you’re on Xbox, load up the game and don’t start it with the A button. Staying on the menu cinematic screen, click X to go into the advanced settings

Make sure when you go into the Settings and the "advanced Controls" tab, to use your wheel, otherwise it is pulling up the settings for the controller.
