I've just accepted that Live-action G3 Clawdeen is fashionably challenged and has made peace with it. Also, LESSGO SONIC SWEEP
If operetta comes back I hope they keep her 50s rock ability style as I think based on what you say in the video. She could go through a character arc where at the start of the movie. She shy and has a 50s good girl style clothes but as the movie goes on she goes through a she goes a transform into a 50s rock star. Kinda like Sandy from the movie grease.

I think this one last mysterious character can be Twyla. The description sounds closer to her (expect that she isn't half human) and we have that one black and white "side" character next to cleo(?) when everyone is wearing their fancy outfits.
operetta could be half human because we only know who her dad is, her mom could be human for all we know ❤️🖤
so excited for toralei!! i really hope she has a natural sounding accent because as a british person, fake british accents sound so awful and distracting
It's also possible they're going with the angle that the phantom is her human parent and she just also has a separate parent that's an actual phantom/ghost.

He does die in the end tho, I think, so he could still have become a ghost, it's just also possible they're going with the other thing.

Now see, as a British person I LOVE British Torelei because as the only British character in the show, and the only real antagonist, it makes it seem like she's mean because she's British and that's exactly the kind of vibe I want. It's hilarious.
I had hoped for the arrival of Casta Fierce which could have been probable since witchcraft is put in front of this second film.
I think it's possible that "Ellis" is an internal code-name for Valentine, or it's also possible that, since he's sort of meant to be going undercover, he's using a fake name.

I mean I'm a live-action Frankie stan anyway, so I'm biased, but...
I think it's possible the code names extend into their production. Mattel has clearly come to realize and understand their stuff keeps getting leaked. Maybe they were trying to dodge this by extending the code names into all the production, and that's where the code names came from to begin with rather than being completely random from the leaker.

Ellis's really goes with Valentine's because he is a vampire and he didn't have a good relationship with his mom in "Why do ghouls fall in love"
Monster high is a school where every monster can be themselves so... why Deuce is hiding his snakes? If he's affraid they will petrify the others ok but if not, he should let them free! Am i the only one who find this detail a bit strange?
I mean, it could be like the show where they talk to him. If he's kinda a parselmouth and can understand them, it'd be annoying to have a bunch of tiny snakes talking constantly.
I think whichever character desc. they said would be operetta would be the black and white character they pointed out in the beginning that looked somewhat like Twyla
after valentine being confirmed as gay and my refusal to believe they’d keep him platonic with draculaura in this movie i kinda hope he is just his own character. while i do still have my hopes up for the show taking liberties in better ways clawdeen x deuce was already too much. (which isn’t to say they will keep up with it in this new movie but currently hard to say) ofc bi valentine would also be cool but like dude. it was already confirmed. go with it.

Every time I see more images of this project, the more I grow thankful that Fate: The Winx Saga went the darker cinematic route. This film series feels less like a high-school and more like a very kid-friendly version of middle school. Its completely unrealistic to how teenagers actually talk and act. No swearing, no high stakes drama, no substance use, it's really feels like a party city commercial that was extended into like a made for TV afterschool special. Idk why they call it a movie, it's anything but.
Agreed and changed all the characters personalities from g1 to unrecognizable characters. If they wanted to bring back monster this way they could have done it as a horror comedy similar to Beetlejuice or remake of the old animation movies or annotated the old monster high books by Lisi Harrison

And no short term memory, no long term memory. Like most other substances, it has its place in the medical field as a medicine, for various benefits. Say what you will about me though, I dont believe gratuitous recreational use of weed is conducive to a developing brain, and it's been proven that the human brain continues to develop years after highschool, age 22 to 24. At any rate, its destructive to teens and young adults to not only condone but encourage the underage use of controlled substances.

that British character definitely sounds like the movie's take on g3 Toralei.
the other 2 characters its harder to say for sure. they could be codenames for Kieran & Operetta OR they could be movie original characters that are inspired but not named as the characters we know. like how the first movie had their version of Jekyll/Hyde
I'd love for Kieran & Operetta to be in g3, if the movie uses their names then it'd be almost 100% confirmed they'll show up in the cartoon later this season/season 2. but if they're movie original characters then that complicates things...

Theory; since draculaura was adopted in g1 ( okay and her fit is literally the vibe when she walked into the school ) maybe she is adopted in thjs generation too, when her fangs grew in right at her witchcraft scene, maybe she is half human like clawdeen in this generation, so maybe being half human is now a thing.
(Probably stupid but makes sence?)
I think it's been confirmed that she is Draculas biological daughter in this generation, though nothing about her mom is known.
