Known issues like the air conditioning evaporator, often not covered by warranty it's a $400 part but a $4000 job to get to it. Dash, wiring harness, interior crash bar, air con ducts all need removing absolute disaster. Other issues like brake rotors particularly on the rear as they mitigate the cruise control getting warped under 40'000km Other than that damn good car
I’ve recently bought a 2017 XC60, and with the very cold weather I have found that it is hard to change gear for several miles until the engine warms up and then the gear box operates as normal. I joined a Volvo forum and queried this, and it is a reasonably common problem. Odd.
Hi, if you have the B5 badge from '21 model year then its the mild hybrid version of either the 2.0-litre diesel or petrol covered in the guide (the badge does not change whether it is a diesel or petrol) these engines are the same as the 2.0-litre non-hybrids but they add in the alternator/48v system. Some markets only have the B5 from 2021, all only have hybrids from 2021 builds but the badges may remain as T or D, depending on your home country 👍

How do you sort out the brake rotor issues? Seems like a common problem. Is it something easy to have done and will it resolve the problem?
@MrSinglemaltscotch just keep paying like everyone else. Heard them warp even from. 40k kms of use
Thanks for making these. Very informative.
Thanks for the feedback, it’s makes the long hours of research feel worth it after a video release 👍
@@themilesdrivenyou're very welcome. I wish you every success with the channel!

Very informative. I may have missed it but heard nothing regarding the 2021 B5 model.

My 2.4 D5 biturbo from 2011 is way better than this newer... I drive both of them.
The previous petrol engines were better and reliable not sure about these ones…
