(2020 F150 XLT 5.0) I've had issues since day one. I literally hate this 10 speed transmission. It can't decided what gear it wants to be in so it constantly shifts up and down making the truck feel like there is a problem with the new truck. I had a 2014 F150 XLT 5.0, 6 speed transmission and never had these issues. Wish I still had it. I've owned Ford truck all my life and never had so many transmission issues with a brand new truck. I hate this 10 speed transmission. Not sure If I will buy a Ford truck again.
Buyer beware! I have the 10 speed transmission in my 2020 F250. It has been in and out of the shop constantly for four months with 9000 miles on it. Rough shifting, knocking noise coming from the transmission. Torque converter shield adjustment. Torque converter shield replacement. Then completely replace torque converter. Ford called in a engineer to look at problem and the engineer says replace the transmission. After four months of fighting with Ford and many many TH-cam videos of multiple transmission problems we have finally arrived at this which I said in the very beginning replace the transmission. Do I have confidence in my truck hell no!
2020 F150 2.7 L 15,000 miles Had to accelerate from 25 into a 45 mile an hour highway. Traffic was not that close. I accelerated and the transmission just jerked and downshifted to 1st gear and then went into neutral. Since then it shifts rough and jumps gears and jerks when you decelerate to a stop. Dealer can’t find a problem. Really?
I just bought a used 2018 ford f150 at 46,xxx miles and only had it for 2 weeks. Today I am sending her back to the dealership. I have experienced harsh shifting, skipping gears, hard shifting in gears 4 and 8. I was told there are no open recalls on the vehicle. Open recalls or not, I don't wanna be stuck with paying for a vehicle that is going to be in the shop half of the time I own it.

Dang dude that stinks, but I abused the hell out of mine and haven't broke one yet
Symptoms? Mine just died on the highway with clunks, a bad burning smell, and vibrations at lower speeds. 100k miles in the '19 Ranger.
