@@SamsWatchReview yep checked out with few other watch reviewers as well it's been fixed now and they got the am-pm issue working properly in dual time mode. Although the watch is sold out everywhere , need to wait for new stock , even the AE1200 also.

I ordered this watch back in early February from Amazon and I just received it yesterday. When I ordered it I was told there was a backorder on the watch and told it should arrive by June. I did receive the updated version of the watch. In dual time the indicator does switch from AM to PM.
So far your reviews are the most detailed and has the real information I need. Example the Snooze alarms , auto repeat function in timer. By the way do you have reviews of A500WA , AE2000W ,AE1300W and WS1600H ?

I was confused between this watch and ws1300h but decided to go with ws1300h because it really has tide graph and the blue tide really looks nice , something which ws1700h lacks. Also tide graph in ws1700h is so small and it defeats it's main purpose as a tide graph special watch I guess. I also live in mixed diurnal tide area so I guess it's not that important but I like ws1300h more. Great review as also bro! Keep it up
There are 3 tidal patterns: diurnal (about 1 high and 1 low per day), semi-diurnal (2 highs and 2 lows), and mixed (2 unequal highs and 2 unequal lows). For more reference, I added links for more details in the description.
About those tidal patterns, I didn't find casio mention that information both in official site and operation manual. Where did you find out only one tidal pattern can apply?@@SamsWatchReview
Cool watch. I have the WS-1500H, being the main difference, besides design, that mine shows a fishing graph and not a tide graph. Mine was launched in January 2023, and ir also has issues with the dual time. It only shows between 1-12 hs, and it doesn’t have any indication of am or pm. As to analog clock, the WS-1500 was the first that had animations instead of always showing the time. I like it better this way because as a way to show the time it’s basically useless. Btw, my WS-1500 is blue and your WS-1700 looks more blue than gray most of the time on my screen :).

My video lighting color balance is not the best; the white is a bit off, I should have compensated it in the camera while shooting. It will be improved in the future.

What i hate the most is the tide graph moon phase too small,better not to have it at all,to make it more annoying that flaw in Dual time 😂,but main main reason i couldn't resist is the size is so good for a big or skinny person with a wrist more than 7.5 inch like me,pengen kebeli tapi terpaksa di skip aja.. Now i have to consider the smaller Ws1600h which has better big digits display especially on day and date,has world time eventhough the design similiar to Casino royale and i like Ws1600h more than that famous Casino royale I hope if casio ever made an upgrade or produce design quite similiar to Ws1700h,they ditch that tiny moon phase,tide graph feature and add World time feature instead a Dual time and do better by not using led amber light as iluminator,maybe swicthing to white led light or green led light,i know maybe its too much to ask,but once in a while why not listen to what consumer wants to improve better..

@@jimlee3725 the graph on the watch shows one high and one low in about 12 hours cycle, then that's semi-diurnal (half day)
In the countdown timer you see the time under the anolog clock

When setting time on dual time can u still view the time in 24 hr format?
With 24H format, the dual time still skips 12 ~ 24.
Anyway, the current time is shown on the upper line as 24H (next to the "DT" sign).

It depends on your preference. But to me, it's the simpler display layout of the WS1300 :)

The WS1600 is also great, same features as the AE1300 but with a better display layout.
