Hi That Lunitidal Interval Web Calc looks great. You changed your DMS to DD without converting the minutes. Lat 53 degrees 20 minutes is not 53.2 it’s 53.333 and your Long is not -6.14 it’s -6.233 If you’re going to go to the lengths of getting accurate tidal readings you have to put accurate numbers in. It’s easy to confuse decimal degrees with whole minutes. To convert whole minutes to decimal degrees divided the minutes by 60. Hope that this info will help someone in the future. Good presentation. 👍
are there any such budget casio offerings but which provide higher precision than these? I know the GBX-100 G Shock provides lots of information but thats nowhere budget friendly. thanks.
From what i have seen, in order to get higher precision, u need to go with a multi-band 6 watch. The prices flucuate, but the two mid-level versions im seeing are the GW-7900 and the GWX-5600 G-shocks. There are non-multiband models of each that are cheaper, but not sure they are much more accurate. Hope that helps!

The GWX 5600 provides more information such as neap tides, but yes it does cost more.
