The gssh do nothing just turn up your volumn if you want to hear helicopters and frogs at max volumn. You take the quads so it tunes that stuff out and you can actually hear important things like enemy footsteps
I'm personally liking the Quads. I found that they amplify ambient noises well, but what i noticed is that it tunes out the frogs, crickets and all the crap ambient noises that you dont need. Yesterday I did a lot of pvp, and I was easily hearing enemy players ruffle through bushes, foot steps and better directional audio. It works well for me personally. But with that im a little more hard of hearing due to using a lot of power tools without protection. So typically when there is a lot of mixex sounds it all just blurs into one for me and is really hard to tell what im hearing. This is where the quads are excelling for me. So maybe just trail and error for headsets is best
Im confused... isnt more ambient noise a bad thing? The descriptions state that they filter out ambient noise but amplify more crucial sounds (implying things like footsteps, voicelines, russling bushes, and gunshots). I don't really feel like this video showcases any of that. If we're talking ambient noise, then the gssh's are arguably the worst headsets to wear since the loud ambient noise would more likely mask more crucial sounds. If you could demonstrate the headsets' ability to hear at least footsteps, bush movement and gun shots at different ranges then that could help us determine which headsets are best
No he’s right the GSSH is actually the best or seem to atleast function fine. The Razor/Quads works well too but the I can hear a lot better w the GSSH n actually muffle louder sounds. It actually save my life more compare to the Quads. The quads makes ambiance a lot louder that includes frogs n shit. Which makes no sense. GSSH from what I’ve experience is actually a lot better n provides a solid feedback when it’s comes to audio.
@@Snikkii15 You could be right. I personally haven't had an opportunity to try them all out side by side. I just feel like this video doesn't do a very good job of demonstrating/communicating the tangible differences. That's all I'm really getting at.
I ran GSSHs for a long time because it made EVERYTHING louder. They must be better right? Then I started to run the others when I got a bigger back pack and noticed the Razors were meh, the GSSHs were good at making everything loud, the Quads made only talking, footsteps louder without making the frogs and everything else blow your ear drums out. The Quads are the better head set. I ended up selling my whole inventory of GSSHs. Everyone has their favorite though, use whatever head set that keeps you alive.
If you want bleeding ears, just turn the volume to 100. Everyone knows that loud doesn't equal good. The GSSh is loud af in Tarkov too and no one uses them because it's about the mix. lol
Hmm ill have to try, i liked the quads cause you can hear the enemy audio que when you get close, and they block out some of the annoying background frogs and cricket's. Its bad enough i have physical reactions and slap the back of my neck everytime that damn mosquitos flying around your head noise happends lol.
Nice! I've been using the Quads, just bcoz they cost more, so I thought they would be the best and the GSSH are the worst in Tarkov, but will definitely get on the GSSH train.
if it's overheating your cpu your rig is set up improperly my friend. It runs my 3600x a little hard but nowhere near overheating. I'm not even running an AIO just a peerless assassin.
Love how the AI wears the Yellow Earmuffs, and even with a suppressor going off some distances away, they hear it as if they werent wearing ear pro.
and beam you with a shotgun over 200 metres away :D
@@DeaD1te right.... and through bushes. like.. really?lol
That’s because the devs want to make the game realistic, as in paintball realistic

You can also pick up 3 pairs at Sawmill in the Office Storage on a box , Office Storage 2 on a shelf, and the Sawmill Boss
You can get GSSH’s at YBL also
and the boss at sawmill had one:)

5 min heli ride with gssh. now deaf, ty.
Try taking them off the next time you are on a heli, it's louder without them on lol.
That’s actually wild, for me the GSSH suppresses the heli sound a lot better than the Quads/Razor.
@@Snikkii15 the best option is to play in windowed and tab the fuck outta there when theres a heli involved lol
@@unyeleman or use earmuffs?
@@OFLOVES3213 I'm not bringing the earmuffs on the chopper? I wear them in base but they would take up a shitload of bag space if I brought them with
Been using the GSSH ever since I found them for the first time, but I’ve found them in just about every area I’ve been

I usually rock the Gssh and I keep a pair of earmuffs in my bag just for the heli rides then I switch back
FYI... I have diffently looted GSSH's at YBL-1 multipe times.
Omg, I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels the same one. The GSSH feels so much better than any of the headset. The quads or razor are whatever.
you can get a ton of gssh at YBL
GSSh ever since I found them in a box I prefer them.
Now a audio guide :)
All good and cool until you have to listen to the mosquitos and flies sounds for hours, just make me deaf already
The game🗿
The inv😊
good stuff

game sucks and gonna overheat ur CPU into the ground! the pvp is trash the game looks sick but its dead already
go play your Tarkov lmao
