Is there a way to see the battery percentage on my cell phone? I have a very cheap little Bitty Boomer Bluetooth speaker that shows the percentage of the battery. However my JBL clip 4 doesn't have this option is there a way to enable this or it's just not possible.

Hi, as long as the fast charger supports an output of 5Volts (5V) it is safe to use without damaging the speaker. The supported voltages can be found in the small fine-print on the charger.

Correct, when the light turn off it is fully charged. It will only take 3 hours to charge when the battery was completely empty. Otherwise it takes less time.

Hi, it is normal for the red light to turn on first when plugging it in. In case the battery is fully charged already, the red light should turn off after a few seconds.

i have the same issue as well! i have left my jbl in the port for the whole day today and saw that the led light had turned off. i replugged it back and it and it seems to still be charging since the LED is still a continuous red.. :(

I charged my new clip 4 until the red light turned off but once I remove it from charging and turn it on it still blinks red.
The 6” charging cord makes me want to return the Clip4 I just bought. Seriously for the money paid they could include a real cable.

Yes, if you have I connected to an android just go into settings/bluetooth/and next to Clip4 it will say the charge level of the battery.

What is the longest time you have played continuously?
I often let it play over night at very low volume. That way the battery actually lasts longer than the 10hours it is supposed to last.

It’s ok to use them immediately. This speaker comes precharged.
As a general rule of thumb, you should charge any new gadget you get with a rechargeable battery to full before using.

If I right, this speaker doesn’t transmit the battery percentage over Bluetooth.
The only indication is the LED on the top of the speaker.

Correct, when the light turn off it is fully charged.
It will only take 3 hours to charge when the battery was completely empty. Otherwise it takes less time.

Sometimes it’s also just a defective charging cable.
