I have the go 3 and honestly... You could absolutely fill a large room with it if there isn't tons of noise. It gets mind bogglingly loud and sounds great. I have the JBL charge 5 as well but I find myself using the go 3 whenever I'm not at home because it's just so portable and doesn't sacrifice in volume or quality much at all
I work in a loud and dusty enviroment, and the clip will just be so damn handy for just passing the time while working better. Grab it, put it on my belt, play something. Just hope it will be loud enough for the inside of a gas forklift, I know my phone struggles.
I purchased this 2 months ago and I really have to say that JBL Go 3 is a winner. The engineers at JBL are amongst the best in the audio world. As an avid JBL user on the Pro level with their reference monitors as far as I can remember going back to the JBL Control micros to the present models they are amongst the best I've ever heard And these little speakers are incredible in terms of Bass response ,clarity and sound quality. Get em while you can ..
For budget audio i have to agree with you. The small speakers have incredible sound for how small they are. Other than that.. they are definitely not even in the top 20 audio companies.. as a guy who works with sound every single day, i could give you a thousand reasons why they are not the best.. but to keep it short.. very bad soundstage.. cheap drivers.. incredibly bad headphones.. all that is oke if you talk about a 35 bucks or even a 70 80 bucks speaker.. and quite impressive for the 35 bucks speaker! But the rest of their products is absolutely not worth your money! And can’t even hold hands with Sony Bose Herman etc etc etc.
@@Gingerlion777 Perhaps on a consumer level ,but I stand by their pro audio studio monitors for mixing. Though everyone has a right to their opinion and sound quality in audio products at times is highly subjective.

The clip 4 throws bass from the bottom so if you place it horizontally the bass will just like flow from there while it plays the music from the too Edit: top*
The go 3 shoots audio straight at you while the clip 4 had audio coming out of the sides and top so if i set it down i can still here it its designed for that
I’m totall my with you. 80+% of the time I will have a speaker setting on something; the clip aspect of the Clip is not a feature I would use very often. I am going with the…wait for it…GO 3 because the speaker is a better fit for most of my use(s). I can always buy a $2 carabiner for it if I need to really want or need to clip it to something. I saw another review where reviewer measured the battery life of the GO 3 at 10+ hours and the Clip 4 at nearly 20, at 60-70% volume. Good enough for me! JBL is really killing it in the portable Bluetooth speaker offerings.
I wish the Clip 4 could stand on its own. Would have preferred it due to battery life. But my use case requires the speaker to stand most of the time, and only occasionally clipped somewhere. So it's the Go 3 for me.
There's a special place in hospital for mental sickness people!!! Go check your self bro, about the speakers I have Go 3 and it's sound 👌 always on max volume outside or inside IDGAF
I'm really surprised no one is seeing the biggest con on the clip 4. The power button is on the side and it constantly turns on and off when in a backpack or pocket or luggage. It would have been ideal to have it above beside the clip so it can prevent from turning on/off 🤷♂️
Ive had the go 3 for like a year now and those rubber line feet are pretty much guaranteed to fall off at some point, gluing them back on doesn't seem to work. Only downside, other than that it's extremely durable and a lovely speaker.
one advise! when you make a sound test in a room it is not possible to hear the difference for us who watch the video. make a sound test outdoors put those speakers away in a distance of 20 steps or so and let us hear which is louder or what it sounds like!! have a good day!!!
The go 3 is so good and thank god JBL had the brains to put the charger port on top with the lop just so you can let it charge while its being used cuz no body wants to put their speaker in a bad position like listening to music
U.K. I have subscribed to your channel and been waiting for Black Friday to grab either the Flip 5 or Chamber 5. As a Pensioner with no income but not compromising on good and quality listening, I can’t wait for your Pre Black Friday deals. Just let me know you will keep me posted. I love your presentation. Straight to the point with good details. Keep the good job up. Cheers
Got go 3 for job. Perfect in top pocket. Supervisor never sees it and can be played quietly or loud enough for workers within 10 feet in loud environment.
Have the Go3, impressive for the size, used at home, well balanced sound, full and not boxy, better than may old Uboom2 (really too bassy). Notice that the Go3 can be used when charging.
I love the comments.😂 I’m getting one today but still not sure which one. I will do my comparisons at the store, I will return here later to give my INs and OUTs. Thanks for the review big man.💯
I bought the go 3 because I think it looks better and I need it for a snowboarding speaker it’s water proof and it’s small I also got it 30% off on black friday
The flip 6 will fill the truck or a big room with massive clean sound for 100$. The charge 5 is over the top sound . Mount charge 5 to bike. I am heard and seen with the charge 5.
I use a three aux connection cable to a port input and have Flip 4 attached to the screen that looks at the back of the monitor, have a Go 1 on the holder of the monitor that looks up and a Go 3 that is on the table and directly looks at me. sounds good.
I use all three of them with a charger that has exactly 3 outputs so that they never run out of charge. The speakers have more power with a power cable and sound much better.
I leave TH-cam sound volume at maximum. exactly the same with the speakers. I only leave system sound at 10-20-30 but not more and use the realtek uqualizer.
I have a beach buggy and I dont want to install a normal car radio, so for just sitting in the buggy or driving around slowly on beach road, will the GO3 be sufficient ?
Hi bit of a random one here. If I strapped the clip to the handlebars of my Jet ski out at sea would I be able to hear the music clearly enough whilst riding? Thanks 😆

As far as I know the Sonos one. Take a look at a harman Kardon citation one, you can get a similar speaker to the Sonos on eBay new for about 60 quid because Samsung gave loads away for free with a phone last year

Yep, it does. I know someone who had both. They said the JBL GO 3 sounds better by far, even though the JBL Clip 4 is a little bit louder.
The go 3 has a more defined top end, and the clip 4’s bass drowns it out so the go 3 is my pick
