I think fast charging or using fast charger is reason my clip dont last 10 hrs ...fast charge can be funny like that if batteries are not really for fast chargers...it might say its fully charged but its really not..

When I take a jog with my Pug--short jogs lol, I keep accidentally shutting off the power due to the swinging effect of the speaker perfectly hitting the power button on my hip. Is there any way to lock the buttons like on the JBL Flip series?
I don't know either but battery life varies depending on how loud you play it and how frequently you play it. I bought mine yesterday and played it out of the box. I've been playing it off and on and over 24 hours it still has a charge. But I agree they need to have an led indicator for battery life status. I can't expect nothing less for the JBL brand.
@@timjones9128 couldn't u just check it on your phone? i'm an iphone user and when i connect bluetooth speakers to my phone it shows on my phone how much battery my device has doesn't matter whether it's a speaker, airpods or any type of speaker device that can be connected via bluetooth it shows on my home screen, i imagine u can just check it on ur phone and once it shows on the phone that the battery of the bluetooth device is low then its time to charge to use it again the next day. I don't know but for me it's like that

TJ Maxx has Clip 4 on clearance for $39 which after tax is $44. I like the modern plus less to go wrong C style charging and 2. The wide clip goes over my dress belt for stability instead of dangling from a skinny belt loop. Note. Once you pair to 3 phones, a 4th won't be able to see Clip 4 for pairing. You will have to unpair one as it is limited to 3 max.
I think the only way to turn down the bass would be to adjust the equalizer on the smartphone. There usually is one hidden in the settings menu somewhere.

It says in the box it can play up to 10 hours. But why I only played mine for 3 hours 60% volume most of the time.. 80% some times.. then the red light starts blinking. Is that normal?

I've discovered in some speakers and headphones (AirPods included) that double tapping the play/pause button is to skip the track and to triple tap that same button goes back to the previous track hopefully that's what you mean by reverse track
Hi so I got a brand new jbl clip 4 and it turns on but has no sound coming from it at all. When I play music, music doesn’t play either. But I can press the play button and it does pause the music and the volume is all the way up and no sound comes out. Is there any reason this could be happening and is there any way I could fix it.

I was just wondering if you could pair it with a laptop and not just with a phone? tried looking for answers on google, the manual instructions on the box and watched a few videos, it doesn't state that it can't be paired on laptops that has bluetooth. would greatly appreciate your response :)

I don’t believe there is. As far as I remember, this speaker does not transmit the battery status to the phone via Bluetooth.

There is no button to press, to go reverse track? It seems to have poor functionality apart from it being just a BT speaker.

If I remember right, the speaker reports the battery percentage to the phone. So the phone can show it as long as the phone is capable of doing so.

The speaker does not have a built in microphone. That’s why it usually is disabled for apps that require a mic.
