I know my Subscribers like seeing videos on Nordhavns but I'd like to ask everyone, what other yachts, RV's, vehicles, etc would you like to see me do a future video on? Let me know in the comment below.

i am actually having a 475 built right now. i have been on hull#1 that you are showing in the video and the fwd stateroom is quite deceiving in the pictures and video. to port you can easily fit 2 adults and the odd shaped bunk on the stbd will fit an adult no problem as long as they arent super tall. there is a desk option for the stbd side as well. many 43's were built with this option. there is also another layout with the master up fwd. this is one of their semi custom boats so as a buyer you can make changes. the chairs in the salon for instance is not std. std you have a settee to port. the boat in the video has a cherry interior with horizontal grain. std is teak with vertical grain.

Thanks for your input, are you going to post anything on your channel once delivered? I'd love to see it.

That second cabin would make a great captain or 1 crew cabin for the long range cruising couple. There are many Nordhavn couples that hire out captains to assist. There is room for some modifications even on the smaller boats like this one. The undersized bed could be replaced by a larger desk with drawers and bookcase next to it to make a small office/cabin. Even a finished boat can be modified by a boat yard as long as the balance of the vessel is not disturbed. Various modifications have been done on other Nordhavns. Nordhavn did a superb job with this boat.

I think an office would be an excellent modification for that area.

FYI, the boat deck can easily accommodate a 12ft tender with engine within the rails, as opposed to the 10-footer you mentioned. M/V Freedom (N4303) has their tender, an 11' Avon, mounted athwartships...so you know the deck can easily swallow something larger mounted longitudinally. Not quite sure where you got that info, but it's inaccurate. Otherwise, not too shabby. 👍🏼

From what I read on Nordhavn's site it's 10 foot within the rails, but you can remove said rails to get a 12 footer on there.

Cool yacht, weird second cabin idea.

Seems like Nordhavn could do a little better with the forward stateroom. There seems to be enough room for at least a double bed.

Seems to be a common annoyance. Other viewers have mentioned transforming the space into something other than a sleeping area, and I agree.

The woodwork on this boat is not up to TaShing standards. Was this boat built in Turkey like the 41?

My 42 Sea Ray has more space aft stateroom and both heads are bigger. For a trawler of this size both the space above and below fall far below expectations for me.

It seems like the bow rides very low.

That second cabin is a design diaster

Yeah, definitely my least favorite area.

Then design it differently. It's that simple. However, that general layout has been the most popular amongst the FPH Nordhavns (43, 47, 52, 55, 60, 64 & 68). I'd go with the desk to stbd option, but that's just me.

I have a Selene 43. It is 47 feet LOA and has much better finish and accommodations than this boat. The bridge is better and the boat deck is much larger. I don’t have a wing engine but I wouldn’t trade my boat for this one. I’ve had two Taswell sailboats in the past that were built by TaShing that had the same interior craftsmanship as the Nordhavn. This interior looks plastic and fake. This boat is a step down from expected Nordhavn quality.

As with most yachts on this channel, the ones shown are from launched vessels and the interior is what the owner wanted. So they must like how it looks.
