A 148' ? That is one boat I look forward to see. Would be nice to own one, but for now we will stay at 50' size

Is there a selling point in Europe, or even better, in the Netherlands?

Let me get this straight. Everything is tested before delivery for 30-90 days, but after delivery nothing is going to work as it should???? Thats not nature of the beast, thats poor craftsmanship.

I think they are talking about what happens after the boat is used for a while. You will have issue like hoses need to replaced, oil, oil filters need to be changed. Water makers need filters cleaned/replaced. If your in the tropics you have to watch our for algae. Hydraulic systems are under high pressure so issues happen. Big ticket items like the engine will run for years with out an issue but smaller system suffer from being on the ocean in a salt water environment. If you (or Guests) are not careful toilet systems can get blocked. Nothing lasts for ever. It's a bit like you house. No matter how well you look after it you will eventually need to call a plumber for something. If you are going to travel long distances you need to be prepared to be able to look after things on you own.

The Awanui NZ, has had many issues during and post sea trials. Ranging from annoying to very irritating.

What a wealth of complete non information. I’ll stick with James Knight of Yacht Thec inc any day. That guy is unbelievable

Every time you talked about a boat owner, it was ″he″.
    Welcome to unconscious bias…
Such a turn-off for female buyers.

While it would likely be better for him to use the term "they/them", this is likely not unconscious bias. Without doing a complete statistical analysis I would venture to believe that 95+% of his previous customers and contacts have been male. So if he "turns-off" less than a few % of his potential client pool by using male centric pronouns, I'm sure he'll be doing just fine.

I’m sure you can tell us how many female owners he’s unconsciously ignoring, my guess would be there’s no more than 3 or 4 outright female owners in total.
