This is a really good review. You obviously know the brand well and weren't shying away from their issues. That's a first in a year of watching some 3 years worth of boat reviews. And the pranking? That was brilliant! Thumbs up for the boat owner!
Nobody does it better. Your the man. Very easy to watch your videos. There are so many people who don't have the same knowledge or expertise in doing these videos. If i see you are doing the walkthrough of the boat. Then i know i can and want to watch every second of the tour.
It is so refreshing to see someone who can point out the flaws of a boat and what you can do to fix them. Even a high quality builder like Nordhaven will have problem areas.
Around the 36:00 mark, hilarious. James is a pinnacle of calm control but I fell about the place laughing. Took a while to gather it up and continue watching this excellent piece. I don’t know you Gary, but you’re awesome.
Absolutely sensational video great great well done job both of you cant wait for the next one...keep them coming please. and yes would love to watch a video about the N41,N51 and the N59 coastal pilot. Thanks again Stay Safe
I know the 41 is very new and maybe not of interest to many but I would really like your perspective as it was designed based on the lessons learned of its similar sized predecessors. So I think that would make for an interesting walk through with your experience.
Outstanding. The most informative boat review I have EVER watched, and full of practical advice for what to look out for in these excellent vessels. Three thumbs up from me.
A couple of review suggestions: the N41 and the boat that put Nordhavn on the map - the N46. The latter really evolved during its production and is still a desirable trawler today. Thank you for providing these informative videos. Your in-depth reviews are a breath of fresh air in a world where most online content is a highlight reel or 30 seconds of TikTok.
I'd love to see something on the N41 and Kady Krogans. I've been interested in the Great Loop for some time, but most Nordhavns are too tall to make it under some of the low bridges. Kady-Krogans are supposed to be better sized for the Loop. I know Nordhavn isn't really a inland waterway boat so boats that are would interest me.
Your group does a great job! When Mama says, “get your Nordhavn”, I will see you. Very informative video and sharing your knowledge with Tips & Tricks is very valuable.
You've been dangling doing an N55 over our heads since that fantastic N64 walkthrough you did (my favorite walkthrough of yours) for quite a long time now, so if you ever find yourself on an N60 with some time to kill, I'd love to see that. Then again, I won't complain about any new walkthrough you and Matthew end up doing - they're all quite nice. Heck, I'd even be happy to see something on a nice Kadey-Krogen 52 or 58. There is a distinct lack of good walkthroughs of those out there. Anyway, this was awesome. Thanks for all that you do putting these together. They are very appreciated!
Thanks so much for doing these - so entertaining and learning so much ! would love to see one on the 55/60 if possible. Both any krogen and selene models are also very interesting to see how different boats are built differently than Nordhavn.
Great walkthrough, yes absolutely life is short and living and traveling on a boat is great, been living on mine for 16 years now and would not change it for anything!
Thank you for the tour, thanks to Chris and her husband. Very informative. When I get my Nordhvn 52 I'll drop it by for the gasket and knuckle replacements. Thanks.
Another outstanding walk through and you are a walking Nordhaven Lexicon. You really know every screw on these boats and I'm sure you visited every nook and cranny on most of the Nordhaven models. My highest respect. I hope to see you at the Miami boat show in February 2024
1:09:35 Like he said, only go in there if you know what you are doing. That's lethal voltage on big cables like that. And if you check to see if they are loose, go by the manufacturer's maintenance manual and use a calibrated torque wrench. If you don't use a torque wrench you could snap off the terminal......or under-torque it. Use a torque wrench. The key takeaway is......there is lethal voltage under that panel.
Great vid as always. Really informative and thanks very much for taking the trouble to do. Echoing the sentiments of a number of others, would really like to see a vid on the N41! Thanks again.
I first heard of Nordhavn, through Nick from Aquholics channel… Of all his videos of Yatchs, Nordhavn stuck out the most… Your videos, have so much in depth information… I’ve never thought of owning a boat, but if I ever hit the lottery, I would definitely buy a Nordhavn and live on it… Would love to see more of your videos, the longer the better… I’ve seen the ones listed at least twice, and really enjoy them..
Love Gary’s sense of humor. Another very informative video most likely the best team on the internet. I will continue to say I would not trust anything I own to that brand of hand held extinguisher I’ve seen to many failures with them. I had wondered why James and his wife fell off of TH-cam.
Excellent outstanding review and walk through. I really enjoy your videos and when it comes time I definitely look forward to doing business with your fine company. Thank you.
Fantastic walk through as always. Getting to know about issues specific to the model being shown is refreshing. Lots of other channels to watch if one wants the brochure walk but only #yachttechinc brings you the good with the bad and the ups and downs of boat reality. Would LOVE to see you do an N41. Lets learn about her together. So interested in the N41 from your perspective. Not much info on her out there. Keep producing these videos James et al.....truly the best on TH-cam IMHO. ❤🔥 #nordhavn #N41
Agreed. Would love to see some good, in-depth walkthrough of the #N41. From what little is out there already, we can easily surmise that it is a very capable boat worthy of the Nordhavn nameplate. I mean, N4102 going up the west coast from Dana Point to Anacortes (1200nm) at an average speed of 7.5 knots* and only burning a touch less than half of its fuel load? That's pretty spectacular really when you think about it. I'd like to see all those nooks and crannies that haven't been touched upon in anything that I've seen so far. *they hauled ass!
Probably the best walk through (all kinds included) I’ve ever seen! Thanks James, for all your knowledge and pedagogic and detailed presentation. Of all the Nordhavn models, we’re most interested in the Nordhavn 60, being large enough but still seem quite managable for a two man crew. That would be a nice presentation should you ever make one. Again - thanks a lot for this great tour! And ofcourse a link to a good one wheeler tutorial. ;)
Love the work and the channel. Thank you for the various details offered. I can attest to the benefits of Viton seals. Best in class. We use them in mining and high pressure applications.😊
James, great review again, these are really enjoyable, the longer the better! As for future walk arounds, I would thoroughly enjoy any model of Kadey-Krogen. Peter.
Way to go Matthew, you knocked it out of the park again!!! And James did quite nice too 😉. Seriously, another awesome video guys and appreciate the shout out of team YT!!! N52 is the nicest "small" trawler out there 😆
Another good one. Please keep them coming. I know they’re a pain in the ass to edit, but seriously l, these are so great. I bet 95% of the people who watched it, finished it!
Lovely video as always, thank you for it. The patch on the top corner of the galley "door" doesn't look like getting loads of UV but it's just where I would grab every time going up and down.
You sir, are brutally honest ! Were I to buy one of these bigger boats, I gladly pay you handsomely for your time to give a master class on the subject !
Any boat you want. MV Freedom is in your area I would love to see one on it. It is a 42 I believe. So good to see you back. Please do not make us wait so long for the next one. Have a great week. God bless in all you do.
Loved your insights on the 62, my favorite nord, but I'm considering the MS56 as it has sails and they dont require diesel, wish they had a wing engine and stabilizers but oh well.
I'd love to hear your opinion on the newest 41. Looks to me like a lot has changed. Twin motors with corresponding rudder and props. It just doesn't look as robust to me. Also, it makes me wonder about fuel efficiency.
once again a fantastic look into another nordhavn. its great to hear about known issues that would help any owner make thier boat better. as for other boats, i would love to see one of your extensive walk-throughs on a nordhavn 86. it would be interesting to see what you think compared to the 76(or 78). thank you for your time and effort. kindest regards
Excellent video! Ironically, I just saw a video of Dirona yesterday. She was going through the Crinan Canal System in Scotland. It was interesting to see a large boat go through such a narrow (20' wide) canal and 15 locks.
The N-52 on sale located in Spain with the “B” layout is sweet. Even though the cabins might be a bit smaller due to the hallway, time is not spent in the cabins. Leisure time is spent in the social areas of the boat. Those include the large pilot house, large salon, flybridge, and large cockpit. Love that interior with the large windows and the silver seat cushions. She sure is a beauty. There was also an “B” layout N-43 boat on sale at Dana Point last year. Love that one too.
I love to watch your videos for hours and hours. I really hope there will be a lot of them going forward. As for the wishlist: the established models seem to have a lot in common, so it would be great to see the newer models (as soon as say are out), like the N41, N51 and N71. There is one boat I would really like an in-depth (maybe multi part) video: Bering 77 - is it as solid and well thought out as presented!? Probably not easy to arrange.
Great video you guys. The day I'm luckily enough to be able to buy a boat, I would love to have you to be my on speed dial emergency call mechanic to fix it. I hate to say this since I really like these wood work and looks of these boats, but I plan on getting a steel hull Bering yacht because they can take being hit by rocks and stand up to mother nature's storms and not get hull damage from running in shallow waters from a going blind guy who still loves the water but shouldn't be driving anymore. Love your videos, haven't missed one yet. From Missouri👍
If you build a steel hull boat new request eoncoat as the primer.no rust for years. Antimicrobial and fire resistant to thousand degrees. Green coating with no vocs.
Great video!!! Watching James talk about these vessels is like going to school. The amount of knowledge that you provide is by far the best of all other videos. Can't wait to see the next video. I noticed there is a 72 nordhavn for sale up in your area. Any chance of doing a video on that one? Thanks Jersey Lou
James your helium 3 and 4 is from boats Mine is a spring near the water tank at mount Taylor and Canberra milk. Which has unfortunately closed a few years ago.
You guys are doing great work. I think it would be great if you did a video on the N68 Aft pilot house model. This model is quite a bit different then the N64, which you've done a video on already. Thanks for all the hard work you do creating these videos.
Lol I’ve watched this video probably a dozen times At 1:24 or so “ umm dad your kind of staring” “I am, well I’m admiring” Next time a beautiful woman tells me I’m staring I’m gunna use that “I am , well I’m admiring “ Maybe I’ll get lucky lol
This is a really good review. You obviously know the brand well and weren't shying away from their issues. That's a first in a year of watching some 3 years worth of boat reviews.
And the pranking? That was brilliant! Thumbs up for the boat owner!
I don't even own a boat and I find your videos fantastic. well paced, eloquent, informative and minimal fluff.
My views exactly. So much important detail without being overpowering. I've learned more from these videos than all others combined. WFH
I also have never owned a boat and I love his videos. Detailed and interesting insights (i.e., leaving mats on the non-skid)
Nobody does it better.
Your the man.
Very easy to watch your videos.
There are so many people who don't have the same knowledge or expertise in doing these videos.
If i see you are doing the walkthrough of the boat.
Then i know i can and want to watch every second of the tour.
Without a doubt and finally a boat review from and absolute expert on every aspect and function of the vessel.
Perfect! Thanks for the video. By far the best reviews on the internet
It is so refreshing to see someone who can point out the flaws of a boat and what you can do to fix them. Even a high quality builder like Nordhaven will have problem areas.
Well done again, always nice to watch.Thank you
Around the 36:00 mark, hilarious. James is a pinnacle of calm control but I fell about the place laughing. Took a while to gather it up and continue watching this excellent piece. I don’t know you Gary, but you’re awesome.
Gary & Chris are amazing people! With a good sense of humor too... 😂
Absolutely sensational video
great great well done job both of you
cant wait for the next one...keep them coming please.
and yes would love to watch a video about the N41,N51 and the N59 coastal pilot.
Thanks again
Stay Safe
Could you please make a video regarding the Bering 65 and 80? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Yes! Perfect video to end the day, thank you James!
I always love your reviews because you cover a little bit of everything!
Thank you all for letting us see this awesome yacht ❤
Brilliant walk through, please do a vid on the Nordhavn 41.
SUPRISE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL , loved the little trap set for you. Thanks for the video.
I'd really like you to go through a Nordhavn 55 - that's what my wife and I are looking at for our retirement boat 😁
I know the 41 is very new and maybe not of interest to many but I would really like your perspective as it was designed based on the lessons learned of its similar sized predecessors. So I think that would make for an interesting walk through with your experience.

Your videos are very informative. If I ever have the opportunity to own a Nordhavn, I'm buying from you, sir!
Great to see you back covering a boat I might actully be able to afford one day!
I really enjoy your thorough videos and the tech details you give about these wonderful vessels.
Great detailed review, as usual - just outstanding! Would love to see your review of a Nordhavn 41. It seems to be garnering a lot of attention.
The most informative video of a Nordhavn I've ever seen. Great Job!
Your group does a great job! When Mama says, “get your Nordhavn”, I will see you. Very informative video and sharing your knowledge with Tips & Tricks is very valuable.

Would love if you could do a N41/51 when it becomes available. Cheers from Hong Kong

Thank you so much.

Finally back with great content!
Another great video James! I definitely am interested in the 59cp. I’ve yet to find a good video on one.

Great vid, worth watching entirely. Thanks for doing this and for sharing your knowledge!
It’s my dream yacht 2:53 ever built on this world and thank you too to give us deep breaths in a rich elegant unique yacht 💙💙💙 3:57
Thanks for the new video!!!
Love the videos. Awesome to hear about the different features between models. Next video N68 please. Thanks

How did I miss this one? Yet another fantastic video. My wife was listening and said “he sounds like you”
Thank you for the Great, in-depth, review and opinions of the Nordhavns.
If i ever get any money I will definitely use Yacht Tech...until then I really enjoy the vicarious fantasy cruses with your in depth videos!!! Thanks
You sir, are brutally honest ! Were I to buy one of these bigger boats, I gladly pay you handsomely for your time to give a master class on the subject !
Enjoyed the video. Thanks
You Sir are AMAZING!!be it good or bad, you report it all 100%, thanks for being so open and truthful

Love to see reviews on the N86 & N96. For me the prize reviews on the Flemings would be the cherry on the cake.

I second this! And seems to be one for sale now sitting in palm beach!
I love how you are straightforward.
I would like to see reviews of Nordhavn 55 or 60, 68 and 80.
Excellent video! Ironically, I just saw a video of Dirona yesterday. She was going through the Crinan Canal System in Scotland. It was interesting to see a large boat go through such a narrow (20' wide) canal and 15 locks.
Couldn't wait for another video. Love what you guys are putting up. What is the song in the opening? edit : in the eyes by peyruis thanks shazam.
As always love your videos for me I love the systems and how they work you can spend more time in the engine room as far as I care.

“Uh, dad? You’re kinda staring…” 🤣
Smashing that like button like…🔥👏🏼
Please do a review of N55. Excellent videos. Much appreciated.
Very interesting and informative, well done sir!😊
Would be interesting to see you review the N56MS, something a bit different.
I love to watch your videos for hours and hours. I really hope there will be a lot of them going forward.
As for the wishlist: the established models seem to have a lot in common, so it would be great to see the newer models (as soon as say are out), like the N41, N51 and N71.

What beautiful, clean Nordhavn awesome liked to see a hardtop on that flybridge, I know they're pricey but it would be a nice touch
Come on Matthew! I’ve been waiting for this forever! 😂
Thank you so much for your boat reviews. could you please do a video on the N40 and 43 please.
Would love to see a video on the N60 or N55
Great video!!! Watching James talk about these vessels is like going to school. The amount of knowledge that you provide is by far the best of all other videos. Can't wait to see the next video. I noticed there is a 72 nordhavn for sale up in your area. Any chance of doing a video on that one?

Thank you! Most likely not, but you never know..!
I would like to see Yacht Tech. Review a Fleming 55. Thank you as always very educational videos.
Please stop teasing us gentlemen, N55. I’d also love Yacht Tech’s take on the N56MS. Thanks for the great videos! Cheers!
N41 and Coastal Pilot, pls.
James awesome presentation thank you
Please do the Nordhavn 43 and 55. Thanks for great informative presentation. This is such a great video, I have watched it 10 times now.
Great video especially the beginning, is that your car the stunning one you pass ? Well done Matthew as well 😊
Thank you! It is not our vehicle, just a beautiful Cobra we spotted!
N86 please. Would particularly like to hear your advice on running a larger yacht as a live aboard without crew.
James your helium 3 and 4 is from boats
Mine is a spring near the water tank at mount Taylor and Canberra milk. Which has unfortunately closed a few years ago.
Giving a like for the intro. Well done
Much appreciated!
Another awesome video. I’d love to see you do a Fleming 65
I would like to see an indepth review of the 475 nordhavn
N41 would be great!
Great video nice looking boat lots of info
You guys are doing great work. I think it would be great if you did a video on the N68 Aft pilot house model. This model is quite a bit different then the N64, which you've done a video on already.
Thanks for all the hard work you do creating these videos.
Lol I’ve watched this video probably a dozen times
At 1:24 or so
“ umm dad your kind of staring”
“I am, well I’m admiring”
Next time a beautiful woman tells me I’m staring
I’m gunna use that
“I am , well I’m admiring “
Maybe I’ll get lucky lol
Would love to see a 60 😄
