Strangely enough, mine is still going strong with the original battery, it works normally, I guess you used it more than me... 🙃 If I remember correctly, I got it for my birthday on September 2011, it's not part of the ambassador program, but I think I got it just after that

Then in 2018 I got my switch and played up till recently when I found my 3ds in my closet I ordered a new charger It arrived today, the day after the E-shop closed and all I have have left are The street pass miis that I spent hours trying to recreate, my old classmates, and videos of summers gone by in other words The 3ds Will always be apart of my childhood. (also thanks to the random kid in the bus I sat next to he had a 2ds so I asked for a 3ds for christmas, I would have never gone on this wondeful journy without him)
I got my 3DS and Wii U games exclusively through physical media (it’s more satisfying in my opinion that way if a bit riskier) but you guys all have my deepest sympathies with the closing of the eshop. RIP

Why Nintendo doesn't hear their fans? Sony didn't close PS Vita store, because of their fanbase and all disappointments. The sad truth is Nintendo doesn't give a s**t a about its devoted fans. It's time to end this toxic love. All they care is money, when it stops to paying off, they simply close it no matter how many people don't want it. And the people buy their games in a hurry, while they shouldn't.

I'm not even Christian, but I crossed myself for poor little Bag Buddy when I got the error message at ten past seven. While I can understand people's disdain for the hype surrounding the closure--- I myself am an avid greenbagger/blackbagger (leek and soobscreeb if you remember the black bag), so my reasons for being there were largely sentimental beyond last-minute support for smaller developers ---I think it's normal to fondly remember shops you frequented as a kid.

What noone is talking abt here is how they killed the badge arcade and every other free to play game it was scary the weeks before the shutdown the bunny acted weird and on the last week they stopped circulating every arcade machine every day like they had it set to do since they stopped working on the game and it went back to how it was originally with machines staying for a week and some circulating it felt like i went 5 years in the past the special prize theme was removed and replaced with a short "have fun out there!" message. Very creepy. Rip bunny

im sure someone will release a patch to re open the e-shops. or maybe an emergency server like when they made a server for modded 3ds where you could get miiverse back... so maybe
